I posted this hand in the NC/LC thread but I want to post it here too. I just don't think it's worthy of it's own thread.


Thoughts on this hand? Villain has JJ, I want to know if anyone thinks he should be raising the turn here.

Yes JJ is a bad raise on the turn.

Why you donk the flop? is he in the habit of checking behind?

Raising the turn seems pretty bad with JJ here unless theres some player history I'm missing.

Donking the flop seems good due to the BB in the hand and also if BTN is willing to raise the flop light. If we cr the flop we don't get enough bets with what I presume to be a monster and most likely results in folding out BB unless we're somehow behind. It also sucks to cr if BB is terrible and hes willing to call the flop light for one bet.
