I agree with the BBJ point. It would be fine if it was a smaller drop and a smaller JP. The random fish who wins would probably donate the money back if he only won a few grand. That same fish is not going to give 100k+ back to the game after hitting a massive JP. It's just another way for money to leave our little community.

I've always had the crackpot theory that good players were bad for a site. Even if they generate $10k in rake every month. Take the strong players away and a greater % of the Joe Fish's money gets dropped; the only downside is it takes a little longer. Also if you take strong players away fish lose at a slower rate, so they get more variance for their money, it takes them longer to figure out they're fish, and they end up depositing more money as a result.

Every time something is exploited it becomes less exploitable. The only thing we can do to keep poker exploitable is not exploit it. And that would be silly.

I think STD's get a bad rap. The only scary one is HIV but what are the chances of getting that from a random girl? 1/billion? Most STDs are curable (gonorrhea, syphilis, chlamydia). And the main ones that are not curable (Genital herpes and warts) are only symptomatic in 10-20% of the infected population. I don't see a problem here. I'm gonna continue my condom avoidance/pulling out strategy.

So a few days ago I was at the bar with my girlfriend and a couple of her friends (No pics stfu), and There was a Creepy weird dude just kinda ogling her the whole night. I'm not too confrontational so I let it slide. We were outside on the patio and I just made the group go inside to avoid the dude. I come to this bar at least once a week.

My plan did not work - creepy dude follows us in and sits at the bar next to my girl while I bathroom it up. Then he proceeds to tell one of her friends that he and his brother want to do X and Y to her boobs. That + his continued staring at my girlfriend = I ask him what he is looking at. He doesn't respond, so I tell him to just turn the **** around. He sits there motionless and I start soul reading the guy. He finally stands up like he's going to do something, so I get a fist ready. Right as he stands up, a bouncer comes charging in from behind the guy. I glance to my right and watch as the bouncer starts to put the dude in a head lock. Right before the dude's dome is locked up, he swings at me like a bitch and hits me on the side of my forehead. I didn't feel it at the time.

Before anything else happens, the bouncer is dragging the dude out of the bar, punching him a few times in the face for good measure. The guy is kicking and screaming and actually hits my girlfriend and one of her friends with a wild bitch-kick. When they got him outside, another bouncer went ahead and pepper sprayed his bloody face. Later that night, the guy was sitting outside on the curb crying, and the bouncers brought him some milk (I guess that's good to drink after being sprayed).

I can't help it Heisen. I can't do condoms. I've tried them all, including the magnum XLs. They all cut off my circulation and I usually go soft. Those times I can fend off the diminished blood flow and stay hard, I still feel very little pleasure.

I'm sure people may find it peculiar or perhaps contradictory that I claim to be a highly risk averse person and yet I throw caution to the wind in the bedroom, but I really have no choice here. If condoms didn't make me go soft and/or diminish 95% of the pleasure I would certainly incorporate condom use into my overall risk averse life strategy. As for now I'll have to patch things up and compartmentalize these two opposing strategies. Internal consistency is not an option.
