You dont need to justify your presence as a mod by using all the fancy lock/ban/edit features. There are 10 times as many people who want that thread opened as there are people who had their panties in a knot over what was being said.

If specific individuals are breaking the most sacred of all rules by talking about non-poker issues with other AP regs in the AP reg thread, closing the thread makes a whole lot less sense than warning or temp-banning the offending individuals.

It's ridiculous...the ap regs thread was the best, longest running thread (that I've seen) on this site...it's the only reason I even visit this forum. No one ever had a problem with the NC/LC thing until just a couple days ago...why the fuss all of a sudden?

I guess we better be careful though, so far only 1 post in this thread pertains to poker....
