busy LHE online poker sites?

What are some busier LHE online poker sites?
I normally play on Stars but it's difficult finding more than 1 table to play at for 2/4 or 3/6 some days apart from the weekend.

IN case you havent noticed wiht the loss of the american market Online Limit hold em has jumped the shark.

However live limit hold em is starting to show signs of strengthening.

Re: busy LHE online poker sites?

Try the micros LC thread or SSSH LC thread (even though you are a FR player). Lots of 3/6 and 5/T regs in both places.

Sad answer is that FR LHE is dead/dying. If you feel comfortable playing 6 handed or fewer, go that way. If not, PLO and NLHE may be a good direction. I'd much rather do that than try to find games on Merge or Cake/Lock as a European site allowed player. Maybe I'm missing some sites, but I don't hear of a lot of FR LHE anywhere. Also, insane Spanish tax laws are super-scary for anyone wanting to play poker at all.

In exactly one market on planet earth, or are there a couple more I'm missing? Not in Vegas. Likely not in NoCal. Definitely not here in Colorado.

Never like NL cash not sure why because I love playing tournaments and do dairly well at them and also turbo SNGs.

PLO? Really. The only PLO game on stars right now is the 0.1/0.25 game with a whopping average pot size of $2!

Don't think so.
Right now there are 2 x 3/6 tables (1 only has 6 players), 2 x 2/4 tables.
That's probably cos it's nearing the weekend but early on every week, you're lucky to get 1 table on Stars.
And PLO all seems to be 6 max, which I don't like. No-one playing higher than 0.1/0.25 on PLO full ring (didn't look above 3/6)

bad news, full ring is dead
more bad news, this is the short anded forum
small stakes shorthanded lhe is still alive on stars. i wouldn't say it's alive and kicking, but it's certainly alive.
on other sites it only gets worse.

Re: busy LHE online poker sites?

We talked a bit about LHE traffic in here:
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/35...rofit-1209535/

But yeah, FR is pretty much dead. For playing +2 tables, you need to play at every single network/site there is

Re: busy LHE online poker sites?

I guess because it's boring?

Fish love action. SH has way more action than FR. No fish, no traffic.
Simple math

I suppose that's why PLO and NL are also good?
I think I'd sooner got to PLO than 6 max but will have a think. What's a good book for 6 max? Winning in tough holdem games I've read but it seemed to mainly be about blind defence. Aren't swings higher in 6max?

Re: busy LHE online poker sites?

NL is the most popular, because everything is NL. Biggest tournaments, biggest payouts, tv ads, poker tv shows, etc... PLO is gambling, which is fun too

Transition from FR to SH isn't easy, yeah. No idea about the book. Not sure if any book is up to date.
Swings are much higher, correct.
