Wow, just saw this tonight... def the best poker movie I have ever seen. There's some poker, but ya... mostly about degeneracy and weird, random friendships. The two main characters are huge fish which makes it much more interesting imo. Movies about winning players are boring. I already know what winning players are like. Both actors were good, but Ryan Reynolds really killed it.

GB when you speak about playing pokerstars NJ , is it like the french, itialian,etc . for example ?
They only can play with players pool in france or italian respectively .
So you can only play with players on pokerstars NJ or you play with the rest of the world as well ?

Really? I can understand a random few times a year rec player asking this question, but someone who has almost 4400 posts on an online poker forum? People really do have their heads in the sand. Take your best guess.

It's a segregated player pool, so only NJ players. I assume the Italian and French sites have a lot more traffic, since those countries have like 7 or 8 times as many people as New Jersey. It's more like Svenska Spel in terms of potential player pool.

Probably he can with the rest of the world but so much stupid regulation can be form by government...

In quebec canada for example they have some idea about banning 2200 gambling site so we can only play with the government gambling site....

Not done yet but they think about it and they might cut off pokerstars alltogether, so people from here could only play with people in quebec , pretty much would be the end of online poker here .

Hey, my Twitch channel grew much bigger than that. I have had 100+ viewers multiple times. My streaming schedule has reduced drastically though since I've been focused on poker.

StarsNJ is definitely going to cut into things even more. Spin and Gos are like crack for me. I've played 499 $10 spins in the last 3 days with an ROI of 0.60% before RB. They are so fast and maddening and amazing. I live and die with these allins for $20 prize pools when that's less than an ante for the stud games I typically play live. Sometimes I really don't understand myself.

As for streaming poker, I've thought about maybe streaming 8-game on Stars, but my streaming setup is all hooked up to my desktop, and the NJ geo-locate stuff requires me to play on my laptop until I get a wireless card for the desktop. I'm not sure if I care enough to buy one. Poker streaming is tough, with the big delay you have to put in, you lose most of the interaction with chat. Plus, people would immediately know I'm a fraud the first round of stud/razz that came around. "I'm betting this street. I don't know why. Who cares." is a typical stud thought process for me.

Does anyone remember what the common ranges for WTSD % was? I'm remembering below 40% as being super foldy, 42% around average, and above that being really showdown-bound.

But I'm finding myself showing down a lot more than 42% and I wonder if my recollection is off.
