Thanks, was hoping for the watch (and to be unstuck in Scoop tournaments) but it was the next best thing on both counts!

Recently got a TV. Anyone looking into work after poker could consider advertising. apparently there are only two rules; target 90 IQ; create animation for all bodily functions.

Is bovada software this bad when it comes to the betting structure for limit. A guy goes all in on the turn for $14 and next player raises to $120. Then in a 5 way o8 pot it checks to button who goes all in for like $11 and I make some incredibly light peel from the sb knowing nobody can raise. Sure enough BB check raises to $60 and it get 3 bet before its back to me. Seems like these are easy fixes.

so stars has removed my avatar. i dont know why and i tried just putting it back and it's not working.

seems to be a software bug, but it just bothers me a lot

It probably triggered someone mourning the untimely death of Harambe and got reported.

this **** happens to me all the time. i still have no clue what the hell the rules are and never know what to do when not closing the action. does it seem inconsistent? i swear, i end up on the **** end whether i'm trying to peel or whether trying to raise.

9-handed game starter guy exposed:

Maybe I'll decide it's not worth it...but gonna be trying it out here for a bit if anyone else wants to try also.

Also, some players really like 9 handed poker and it'd be nice to capture those guys.

We'll see.

lol wasn't me before.

I've started less than 5 9 max games ever.

Omfg, I am reading the updates from the 6-max event and everyone ****ing sucks so much diseased green dog dick. The play of the NL pros is consistently hilarious as they drastically underestimate the relative strength of their hands. I cannot even begin to understand the thought process behind some of the weirder hands. I feel like I could just randomly cut and paste these hands and 75% of them are going to involve horrible play.
06-23-2016 , 09:28 AM
There is always a chance the hand was grossly misreported.
06-23-2016 , 01:53 PM
Has to be misreported because if there is one thing I have learned on 2p2, it's that limit is a simple game that is solved and is easy to play perfectly.

QED

Then you should be in Vegas winning bracelets.

My one week or so opinion is the 9 man games are great when the action is especially slow. Which is like most of the time during the summer.

Small sample but it seems like a positive so far to me.

They have been really good and have filled pretty quick. I hope they keep running becuse I play mostly o8 on there and would much rater add an extra FR table than a 6 handed table if given an option

lol, yes. I've felt this way for a decade now. Is it the 5k 6max? I have fond memories of tilting at the TDs of that event.

I have played in so many incredible full-ring games in my life. In the Stars days there were definitely a significant number of fish and semi-fish who strongly preferred 9m games and would seemingly only ever play shorter when they were stuck/tilted, and on Bovada there are certainly a large number of casual degens who want to approximate their live play. I've always thought people were dumb for not starting 9m games.

Has anybody played with this 3/6-4/8 guy who is constantly threatening to track down other players and murder them (via stabbing, usually) in their home? On numerous days I have seen him making these threats. He's always like, "I only have to pay five dollars to get your IP! You're only x hours away from me!" And there's my favorite, "I got your IP FROM Bovada!" Yeah, ok guy.

It's helpful to have this guy identify himself on an anonymous site in real-time as you're trying to take his money, but as I was laughing at him I became curious if it is actually possible to track somebody's IP and thus learn their location. I mean, they always say that it's easy to hack into the average person's accounts with a little knowledge, intelligence and/or social engineering ...

Edit: http://www.wikihow.com/Trace-an-IP-Address

apparently it's doable, although maybe not necessarily from Bovada itself

Uhhh, even if he could get your IP (he can't), he's not gonna be able to decipher your home address from it.

lol this is like every other lobby in Call of Duty or CSGO games online. Troll pro tip: Call them a script kiddie or fake hacker and they will lose their mind and rage even more.

I've had like 100's of ip threats over a decade and nothing has ever happened. It's that friendly guy who sends a friend request or wants to chat over messenger that you need to be fearful of lol.

Thanks AB and LM. I'm pretty computer illiterate for a MILLENIAL (the common idea of breaking generations down like this is quite stupid, imo).

And **** KD. We are all LeBron fans now. I mean, I already was, so welcome to the bandwagon everybody.
07-05-2016 , 12:52 PM
I'm excited to see what Westbrook can do without having to share the spotlight. But yeah, kd is a joke.
07-05-2016 , 02:57 PM
Elo, I doubt you are worse than the average millennial. This oft-repeated factoid that kids are great at computers/tech is pretty laughable. I'm not really blaming them as I think it's a product of the point-and-click nature of computing that proliferated in the mid-to-late 90s, i.e., the obsolescence of command prompt operating systems starting at the launch of Windows 95. It's a net positive overall (I think?) since it opens up computing to many more people, but the trade-off is most of those users have very superficial knowledge and are never forced to learn any of the "hard" stuff.
07-05-2016 , 03:43 PM
Must differentiate computer knowledge from video game expertise, which all millennials are great at.
