If surveys are to be believed, there are at least two male and one female libertarians in the world.

Since the voter registration thing only had so many options, I've been a registered Libertarian for about 10-13 years. My beliefs are more akin to a Green/GeoLibertarian combination, but I recognize my beliefs are merely that: beliefs. Preferences. I know they are not terribly practical or implementable.

For this reason, I tend to support (in the real world) Dems more than Repubs, but I have certainly voted a near rainbow ballot before (no proclaimed communists/socialists/whatever to support). I tend to care more about people than property, more about personal freedom and protection than business/moneyed interests. Of the two, Dems are closer to my preferences than Repubs at this point.

Why do so many people who identify as liberals support fascist policies, laws, and politicians?

I'm pretty sure most of the people on 2+2 are libertarians. Much less are Libertarians.
