As Krugman says America became rich and built its way out of the Great Depression thanks to a bunch of stuff being blown up. 2007/8 has a market crash and a bunch of "natural" disasters then happen? Follow the money as they say, do the math, blowing up a bunch of stuff with hurricanes and tropical storms creates jobs. Its the economy stupid.
