Many of them have become turds because they have forgotten (or never learned) that liberals are not the type to shut themselves into idealistic bubbles, hiding themselves from outside criticism. The almost religious fervor generated by such rabid adherence to unchallenged orthodoxy we're observing is just a phase on the left, imo. Their gods will never be sacred as those on the right.

I thought the John Lewis slam on Trump right before MLK Day was particularly classless. They love to use the cloak of legitimate ancient civil rights stuff to disguise their current petty partisanship.
