See... what did I suggest about avoiding these types of questions. You don't really wanna know why someone posting advice feels like posting advice. Maybe they like typing something between innings, who cares?

And it's not 'literary' advice... nobody is telling you what novels you should have read. It's writing advice. See once again... you're trying to 'puff up' your jabbering with extra fancy-sounding words. My advice: you should really try not to do that.

What you're really asking is... well nothing, I'm pretty sure. You are probably just trying to say that you're going to be ignoring any and all advice given. I think that's been pretty obvious by your actions... even if it's not at all clear from your 'question', or if that's not what you're actually trying to say.

I assume I count as a 'mocker', so I won't answer the actual 'question', such as it is. But I'll leave you with some other questions to ponder...

Do you think some people might have had standard good writing advice offered to them free as a favor, like in Freshman Writing, or some place similar? Maybe all people don't treat everything like it's some kinda adversarial game complete with 'good moves' and 'bad moves'?

I think it is better to put the motives for the spank-interested posters on a range of potential motives. They are all individuals after all.

Is is reasonable to presume that an intent help is minority position.

Really, the only help I have a need to ask is from people who made my language use their business and won't stop talking about it or mocking it when asked.

Repeatedly posting after me across the forum and disagreeing completely with mockery and repetition in almost every other topic are totally not personal. I am not asking you to stop doing that, if that is what you are doing.

People who made my language use their business may feel insulted at a person's response to the matter they did not expect. Bad luck. People have personal boundaries for a reason.

If you go fiddling with the way people talk, expecting more may happen than cheap lols is smarter.

Clues so far being:
Taking the effort to only refer to thekid as TheKid345 as though any normal poster would think it matters.
Being a new account that knows suspiciously large amounts about thekid's history.
Coming from nowhere into a discussion about thekid to argue with him (kid likes to do this with his alter egos)

There's an outside chance of Flounce being legit, but it's pretty small.

There's also a pretty similar tone in the way they post, but Flounce neatens up the grammar a lot.

Fun4Life was getting accused of being him also, but was nuked so there's that.

All valid points, although I will admit, i've been saying "TheKid345" cause I get kind of a kick out of people thinking i'm him. Although, as I stated, I think he was a bad person and a sh***y human being. ... Maybe I should stop doing that I guess.

I know large amounts about the kid, and others, because i've lurked for years. Some threads I avoid because of the AIDS, some I read daily. And sometimes I read threads filled with AIDS. Depends on my mood, patience, time I have to read, things like that I suppose. You guys should be greeting long time lurkers like myself with open arms, fresh blood is a good thing and can provide some new perspectives on how other lurkers may view things / procedures around here, and what may be turning away or attracting new visitors to 2+2. Though of course, politics chained and unchained are not your main draws.

Coming from no where to argue with the kid, well keep in mind i've been lurking for a while, so I knew his "work" well, and he was my motivation to sign up for an account for so long when I saw a thread in which Chez was coming down on JJ, when it should have been about the kid and why JJ was completely justified in treating him with contempt. That thread needed a voice to summarize who the kid was, what he believed, and why we should all put aside our differences to say in one voice- this guy does not belong here. If I were the kid, would i really work so hard to get "myself" perma'd?

the kid always struck me as someone whose second language was English, the way he "spoke" was almost robotic, without feel or emotion. It was empty rhetoric, like he didn't believe his own words.
