You do sound fringe. You sound like an ideological 21 year old college student. There is, indeed, racism. I just don't think it's anywhere in the remote vicinity as bad as you'd like it to be.

The great thing about America is people only care if you can do the job. No one can take your skill set from you and your last name and skin color doesn't really matter. Somewhat, sometimes? Sure. But not enough to stop you from getting an education and a career. .

If you're a black, Muslim, lesbian midget cardiologist what are you? I don't know what your answer is, but I know i would call her a cardiologist.

BTW, why does Korean send us their worst? They're rapists. They're racists. They're criminals.
I wouldn't go so far as to disagree with this. America is a trash country where throwaways and poor people fled to. If you were rich or a royal in your own country you wouldn't have come to America, why would you? My parents weren't rich so they took a shot. Things worked out.

As far as Mexicans go, though, they can just walk over, and they can circumvent immigration much easier. You can't exactly sneak in from Korea easily. Trump had a point.

And when he said that, he was speaking to a group of Mexicans. You fail to mention what he said after that line.

Btw, I'm an American citizen.

Do you really think that the experience of a minority cardiologist will be the same as a minority min wage worker?

The higher you go up the socioeconomic ladder the less significant it becomes.

The people who're the most hateful are the ones who hate their own lives, and there are a lot of people who're struggling at life in the US.

Sure, and if the north koreans started showing up on the western coastline, you'd have a lot of people saying "not our problem, send them back", and they'd have the right to do that. And like with the mexican issue a lot of citizens will be anti immigration on the basis of self interest without a hint of racism.

On a political level though, and especially with someone who's already wealthy, championing that cause (with the intent of following through as opposed to just saying it to win votes) signals that there's something more to it than economic nationalism.

I'm asking you questions for two reasons:

1) I'm trying to get a better handle on your views. I could just disagree with what you write (and I do disagree with a lot of it, but not all of it, on first reading) but a lot of it is not 100% clear to me and I'd rather figure out exactly what you think than just disagree with my first impression of what you think.

2) In this specific instance, you claim to have knowledge of why Trump won that others in the forum do not. If your claim is true, I would also like to have that knowledge, and so I ask you to explain it to me.

This entire post is one Olympic sized swimming pool full of fail.

You literally do not understand how the world works if you believe the above. You should be embarrassed forever for writing such absolute nonsense. No credible political person would agree with your assessment here. Not one.
^

This post goes back to #2. You claim everyone here is wrong about "why Trump won", and you imply that you have the right answer, but you don't articulate that answer. Maybe you have in the past, but since you have >17,000 posts, it's going to be hard for me to find. So I ask you because I would like to hear what you have to say.

Trumpkins: we told you this is what the Trump Presidency would be like. This isn't about you making a choice that nobody could have predicted would turn out this way - you all CHOSE this. Bask in your incredible stupidity. Own it.

Since Israeli's never were pissed at Obama, nor were they ever pissed at Bush, nor were they ever pissed at Clinton. In fact they've never been pissed at any POTUS until TRUMP.

Oh, so you get to define who feels what and when? This is comical.

I'm sure the poor white girl with 2 kids working at Walmart, taking the bus, but happens to be white is just so happy because she's got the right skin color.

You sound insane.

Not to me it's not. Trump said they aren't sending their best, they are sending rapists and drug dealers, not people like you. He had a point. He was simply saying he's ok with legal immigration for good people. You heard "Mexicans are rapists". You chose what you wanted to hear. There were many Mexican people who agreed with him.

There are many illegal Asians here. They should not be here, and I support that. We have a process and it shouldn't be thrown out because I feel bad for them. Sorry.

I have 17 thousand posts, and this website has a search function. I don't think it's hard to understand that having 20 questions a day thrown at me may be considered annoying, especially in rapid succession.

If you think I'm going to spend hours a day explianing my every thought to a new poster, you're nuts.

This has absolutely nothing to do with what I said. If someone had concern about me being biased towards making a decision involving something I may be sympathetic to due to my background, I'd be totally fine with that, and that'd be perfectly normal.

Hillary Clinton would have been better for this country? Do you even think about what you write?

You mean that little game where I posted about five words and you had a five hundred word meltdown?

Yeah, that was a fun game, alright.

You used an example of a gay/muslim/black doctor to illustrate that people are all treated on their own merits, so I pointed out that their experience is not likely to be typical because people they'd come into contact with who have racist attitudes will in almost all circumstances still be civil.

I don't see what that has to do with the fact that there're more significant factors that contribute to a persons quality of life.

No, i agree, if you judge him by the words he chose you could charitably interpret it to be free of any racist sentiment and write off the wording as tactless.

It's the implied motivation that makes him suspect. If it's not out of self interest, then what? Because he values the lives of americans more than mexicans?

This post is absolute nonsense. Donald Trump is making America so great again, you just have no idea. You've never seen a great America, so you're clueless as to what it looks like. This is a great America, and by God, Donald Trump is a great president! And man, what an election winner!

When was America great and what made it great?

It's clearly great now, and clearly Donald Trump has made it great!

Yep! You got it! The last four months, but ESPECIALLY the last week, have been filled with a comical amount of unforced errors that have put Trump's entire administration in scandals severely limiting his ability to do his job, not that he was ever particularly good at it.

And you, mongidig, you voted for this. You did too, wil. You maybe did, adios, but you seem like the type to pretend you don't support Trump and voted Johnson or something LOL like that.
