My Fellow Politards,

Given it seems we have only so much time together here south of the border, I think a post-mortem is in order.

I'd also like to point out, since Baja Politards is toast, there is no reason not to simply ignore the lame-duck mods, along with the incoherent and dysfunctional rules that Baja ended up suffering under. Site-wide rules should still be respected, of course.

Despite Teh Jabber-Wookie simply not having what it takes to be a mod, Baja managed to stagger on after the two (not one, two) times he was made a mod. OTOH, chezlaw, amazingly enough, managed to kill Baja on his watch.

So, now that Baja is toast, I can imagine the odious Bruce Z getting active again... and the revenge of SMP on Politaria will have been completed. Kinda like the virtual version of the 47 Ronin.

In the style that P7 has become familiar with, I will express my feelings in the form of "I'm not X but..." thereby invalidating any criticism anyone has to offer:

I'm not blaming Chez for enabling bigotry and ultimately getting the forum nuked, but this was entirely predictable and a result of Chez acting knowingly and intentionally.

I didn't participate much, but it was fun to read.

I'll miss that for a few days.

I'd be kind of embarrassed if I was one of the guys or girls that ran to cry to Mat.

The forum is being closed down because too many deplorables did cry and would cry about getting banned for breaking sitewide rules than have been in place for years and years.

You're one of the smart ones but I sometimes forget how dumb you all are, baseline speaking.

You have this strange need to group everyone and place them on opposing sides, and in doing so you make a lot of inaccurate assumptions.
