I'd bet that a tweet-by-tweet investigation would reveal the tweets and links from 'tweet posters' have been nearly entirely topical and entertainment or informative, with only a couple of repeats. I can't explain why each of the complainers are complaining though. An Inconvenient tweet?

I'm a fan of einbert, but I don't think it's an inaccurate criticism of him that he's sometimes gone for quantity over quality, and with the formatting of tweets it can definitely make threads more difficult to read when lots of them are posted.

Sure, I'll hit you up in around a week. What about it aren't you two keen about?

Sorry for not responding earlier. My view is that for better or worse, it has to be decided by the moderators.

There's several, one being that we dont want any more threads about rules and moderation. More actual politics - at least for now please.

I'd also be interested to know if you have had any other accounts on 2+2. No offence, but it's unusual for someone new to 2+2 to be so interested in the moderation. Send us a PM when you can.

Einbert and goofyballer are about to fight to the death for my amusement, I've got this covered.

And? Moderation is getting complaints from posters across the board.

And that's not a criticism one of the consequences of being a moderator is having lots of people disagreeing with you but you can either decide to do what you think is correct, like banning Breitbart, or you can do what posters want as per the criticism of einbert posting links/tweets.

We have done what we think is right. Tweeting/links/etc are useful and welcome but they are a problem for others if done excessively. A 'be considerate to others' rule is a good solution.

I was correcting any misconception that the rule was anything to do with objections to the content of the tweets/links/etc.

einbert's a propagandist. I am a humorist. When I use vids it's usually to be funny. Einbert just spams the party line w tweets. f-it, I'm going to just start plopping pictures of palm palms for my favorite democrat party cheerleader.

That's what "ignore" feature is for.

Doesn't work on tapatalk for android, major bug. So it's cheerleader pics, sorry. Also, when you put someone on ignore, not einbert, but someone else, they'll troll you more knowing there's no chance of retaliation, because you're not responding to their posts.

I'm not here to win arguments and retaliate. I'm here to read interesting opinions from people who don't agree with me. Spam doesn't fit that bill.

His post have a lot of info in them. Pretending that he is just spamming is, sad.

Yes, it's a HUGE error. There is a percentage of spam. Another reason not to block because you can't separate the bad posts from the good ones. Perhaps I overstated it a bit.

Maybe use the scroll wheel instead of calling for speech to be stifled.

Look at all the extreme free speech advocates advocating for a safe space away from current events and information! How precious!

I'm not calling for anyone to be stifled, censored, or banned. Just making a personal choice not to read it. Stop being so sensitive.

And he has been stifled a bit by chezlaw based on the cries.

Admittedly trolling is the surest and fastest way to receive sanctions, especially in Content threads.

1. Hitting the mod button is for sissies
2. Liberal gonna liberal. So, let's not pretend. You're never gonna sanction einbert because he phonebanks for your team.
3. I don't care for sanctions.

Without some creative control, I'll just be sure to contribute less whoscheztopia.jpg.

Cheerleaders stick together.

Post where you are getting this from. Wasn't me. Very sensitive, aren't you?

Do you have any ideas on on how we should implement creative control with sanctions - let alone without sanctions?

There's no sides being taken apart from the PC bias. It is true that those who don't report are less likely to see posts they object to being dealt with but that's their choice - what can we do about it except encourage people to report?

I think posting cheerleader pics every time einbert wastes everyone's time until s/he is shamed is enough. I am probably crazy. I remember I hit the mod button once like 10 years ago, and Wookie essentially told me I was being a sissy, so you know, liberals gonna liberal. I solve it myself w cheerleader picks. Anyway, einbert isn't even doing his side favors. The group think hurt the democrats.

ALSO, in probably crazy ideas, a monthly drinking game where we PM phrases we're likely to hear from posters would be BUKO FUN, and we'd have a gangbusters time!

Interesting that this is your takeaway.

It's different here. We don't want the Content threads to become battlegrounds where some group dominates.

Fun is good and we have a drinking thread. Can you set out how it would work in the drinking thread and I'll peruse it over a few beers.
