Sure he does. Being up "yesterday" was a meaningless sample driven by the PLUNGE PROTECTION TEAM, being down "today" means we are one minute to midnight away from PEEAAAAK OIIIILLLL turning the country into a FEMA camp ridden waste land.

No one ever thanks the plunge protection team for all the crashes they prevent. They do a hell of a job, imo.

Climate change is very real, its consequences are going to be very bad, and we should do almost nothing about that.

Congrats. Your hot take is the mainstream position.
08-28-2015 , 04:52 PM
what would you rather have, air we can breathe, or a few extra jobs?

JOBS OBVIOUSLY

erm....true...this is what happens, but most of the left seems to think we SHOULD be doing something about it. Perhaps it is only a hot take amongst the fairly left progressive enviro pinkos I'm a part of

How many are actually pushing for us to make hard painful changes?

Don't expect a man to agree that 2+2=4 if his livelihood depends on it equally 5.

And how many of your enviro friends still think nothing of jetting off somewhere for vacation?

Oh, exactly zero. My point was just that while most individuals don't do anything, and while our political process isn't doing anything, conventional leftish wisdom is that we really ought to do something and it is rather a shame that we aren't. I don't know if this is correct, but as a candidate for "hot take" I was taking the position that it is actually correct that we aren't doing anything. Maybe I just fail this game.

In any event, ... sell, sucka!!

Watch out USA #1, we be pooling an enormous arsenal of bacon, Molson Canadian, and hockey memorabilia on the border as we speak.

Be afraid. Very afraid.

Trump is simply proving that politicians have been putting more effort than needed into their dishonesty.

You're a Canadian. Of course you want it to warm up.

Freezing winter and horrifying summer, nice.

Where I live it's pretty much perfect every day. No climate change please.

Victoria, British Columbia, Canada> all. South of the 49th, modulated by an ocean with constant deep ocean upswell outside it, but mountains far enough away that it rains in Vancouver but not Victoria. Great temps and weather year round. Only downside is they are all going to die in the big earthquake.

Spent the Summer in Victoria a couple years ago. Wonderful place. Terrific people. They love me there.

Except for all the smog, fires, droughts, sometimes floods, and the ever present threat of The Big One.

I work all over, so I get that and heat too (I've been working on a roof at 104 deg lately) but I live 5 blocks from the beach. No smog, not hot, no fires.

I'm burning out on the driving though and I think the cost and time have kept my business from growing and margins too low. I'm looking to make changes.

Especially when they ACTUALLY say something ridiculous like when that 1 guy said rapes don't lead to pregnancy or whatever. Your head must have exploded.

Anyway, you won't see them as stupid but here are some examples of dumb left comments:

#1) Hey Ahmed, cool clock that looks exactly like a bomb that you ripped out of it's original RadioShack casing and put into a metal breifcase. Wanna come to the Whitehouse?!?!

#2) Imagine how bad the Dylan Roof Shooting would have been if everyone in the Church was armed!!! (it's on youtube somewhere!)

#3) Anytime anyone brings up "the wage gap"
.

"Maybe it's not even true" is great, I love the uncertainty. "Now before you get in a tizzy, while I myself am pro gay marriage, being against it is not always or necessarily gay bashing. It's like the man said, all animals are created equal, but some animals are more equal than others."

My favorite part is when he accuses liberals of being intolerant because they take exception to racism and bigotry.

Next March Elizabeth Warren enters the race for President. Bernie reluctantly throws his support her way, and when Hillary bows out most of her support goes there as well. Warren is a shoe-in for the DEM nomination and she becomes the first female president of the United States. You heard it here first!

If the scales ever tip and the economy crashes and all of the "deserving" Americans lose the upper hand, anyone who claims they would not cross a border (north or south) illegally, risk, jail, exploitation, unknown length of separation from loved ones etc to make a better life for themselves or their family by doing any job they can get is a ****ing bitch with none of the grit that they are claiming makes Americans special.

Criminal leaning my ass.

That a hot take?

Well it looks to me like you're ready to solve any diplomatic tensions with Canada then. If you tell me you rented some apartments to some Canadians that would really seal the deal.
