Ikes has said that he has no interest in a buyout of his hilarious #notresonating bet, but we should probably be sure. And express gratitude to Lilu7 for his service to the forum. So ITT we pledge our monetary support to Lilu7 in the event that ikes gets permaed once TRUMP secures the nomination.

A better strategy would be to just let Ikes stay with the stipulation that he sends Lilu $2 for each post.

Certainly it should be an IP ban. I mean it won't be enforced but if ikes pops back up posting under a new account but the same IP address I'm sure that mods will point this out so people can point at ikes and laugh at being a welcher.

ikes will absolutely comply with the terms of the bet if he loses. Maybe Lilu would let him out for a lifetime avatar commitment, some combo of Ohio State and liberalism, if such a thing exists- something so bad ikes would barely want to log in and have to look at it lol

Uh, just ban him now, and save the $50.

They're just different bets. My bet with Deuces has different negotiated points. Deuces has outs if Trump dies or there is specific delegate malfeasance and the bet explicitly allows for the loser to come back under a different user name later.

Anyone want to lay me odds that Ikes at least attempts to dodge the ban if Trump wins? We'd have to refine the terms a bit, but just to spit ball. I'd bet on him trying to side step the ban but am by no means confident. Takers? Offers?

I'd need to read the posts between Lilu and Ikes when the bet was made to determine the nature of the potential ban. Might be worthwhile to find the exchange and copy/paste it here.

My understanding was that it was a site wide perm of the user (Ikes), which is what I think Ikes believes too based on some defense mechs he's erecting in anticipation of the potential loss.
