Paranormal Experiences Paranormal Experiences

Share them ITT.

When I was 17 I'd occasionally go to a cemetary with a group of friends to smoke cigarettes, be loud and occasionally drink a little. One night I was there with a good friend and a couple girls and after feeling cool about smoking cigs we decided it was time to leave. If I was proficient with MS Paint I'd draw a diagram of what happened next.

Car was parked about 100 yards from where we were hanging out. First 75 yards or so was pretty wide open other than headstones and the occasional tree. Last 25 yards was a gravel driveway and parking area which was WIDE open. No cars, no nothing.

We make the walk, laughing and whatever, get in the car, I flip on the headlights and BAM...directly in front of me is an elderly woman in white with very stringy white hair, staring dead-pan at me, hair and white gown kinda waving at half speed in the air. She was maybe 1 foot from the grill of my car. Night was still as can be, no wind, yet she's kinda hovering and garments/hair waving.

I scream. Friend in passenger seat looks up and screams. Girls look up and scream as I'm gunning it in reverse. Woman remains where she was, staring, floating, hair and gown flapping slowly.

There is NO chance that this woman was hiding behind anything and just popped out as there was nowhere to hide and she couldn't have moved fast enough AND undetected to scare us from the nearest hiding spot. No chance. Lady was like 100 years old in appearance.

Buddy and I talk about this still at least twice a year I'd say and we're in our 30s now. was freaky as ****ing hell but I'm sure the scariness doesn't translate here. Our theory is we were being disrespectful of her grave, or her husband's grave, or something, and the message was GTFO. Her expression and stare will not be forgotten.

People don't report enough ghost Hitler experiences.

That guy gets disrespected all the time.

I have commemorated this excellent thread with an artistic rendition.

I'm confused by the presence of ghost #2, but otherwise A+

Bladesman reported seeing Ghost Hitler???

One time when I was really drunk and quite a ways away from home, this ghost rider drove up on a ghost bike. Imagine Ghost rider, but it was a ghost Vespa!

Long story short he offered a ride on his ghost Vespa if I sucked his ghost dick. I decided to go for it, because I was really drunk and its not gay because its ghost dick. He shot ghost plasma and not seaman.

This is probably your GOAT post and you should just mic drop retire from 2+2.

Did she, by any chance, look like this?

Spoiler:

Nah

Seriously though, nice story. What or who do you think this lady was? How did she look like? Was she transparent or did she appear to have a physical body? Could it be that she appeared whiter than usual because of the bright headlights? So this happened 15+ years ago. Do you think that there is any chance you guys overreacted because there was some weird looking old lady hanging around the cemetary in the middle of the night? And then the story got scarier inside your heads because your minds added and disposed little details and basically came to the conclusion that she HAD to be a ghost woman?

I don't know, with 100 billion+ desd people and billions of cameras existing, why is there no evidence for stuff like this? I also never met a single person in my life who claimed to have seen ghosts or paranormal stuff in general. It's always the guys on the internet. No offense, though. I'm not saying you're lying or anything.

Not transparent. Always felt it was a grave disturbance or disrespect issue.

There are a gazillion photos and vids on the interwebz of ghosts n stuff, so it's all a matter of what each individual would consider evidence/proof for themselves. Since our special effects technology can essentially create a real looking version of anything on a screen, anything can be faked, so probably for most people, footage of a ghost just wouldn't suffice for them as strong enough evidence, by this point. Similarly to something like seeing an alien or a UFO, the only way to make most folks a believer would be for them to witness it in person. Also, it's very possible that people have had these experiences but choose not to share them with friends out of fear of being ridiculed, so the fact that no one you know has shared with you a personal ghost story is irrelevant as far as the chances that ghosts are real.
03-07-2016 , 11:38 AM
People I know have shared stories with me of supposed paranormal experiences. In some cases I'm sure they even believe it.

You're right that it's about standard of evidence. The problem is that there aren't even many good fakes out there. Given the many bizarre events that are captured on camera these days, it's more than a little bit unimpressive that every "ghost" video is some grainy, shaky footage of almost nothing.

Somewhat dull strangest experience but despite my certainty there's a reasonable explanation it has baffled me for years.

Was on the London Tube for an ~30min journey. Woke from a deep sleep when the train stopped at the one before mine which was handy. Less so when the next stop was two before mine and I realised the train was going the wrong way. ~30 minutes had elapsed which was about right for me to be going the right way and there was nothing like enough time for the train to have got to any place where it would plausibly have turned around.

On getting out of the train I had my ticket but no money. These would have been in the same pocket and I always carry money. I was going for lunch and was stone cold sober.

Still bugs me from time to time.

Another theory is that it was just an old lady who wandered out there and you guys were too busy doing what you were doing to notice. That explanation is a lot less fun, however.

Sobriety impossible in this story.

Stone cold sober. Maybe I went past the stop and changed trains and then forgot about it, or did it while asleep. Seems very unlikely as this was a one off experience about 20 years ago.

Train went into a siding and changed direction seems more likely - some sort of minor problem on the line ahead could have cause it I suppose. All very unlikely but unlikely events should happen quite often.

Anyone posting without an actual experience doesnt really understand the phenomenon. I have a short experience well rather two that is. One came from the using of an Ouija board. My girlfriend at the time had recently moved in and had brought an old Ouija board which was an old wooden one not the walmart edition. It had actually been ruined by leaving it out all night in a storm on the deck, it was peeling, warped and falling apart so she and her roomate at the time had tossed it in the dumpster. Two days later they arrived home afterwork and sure **** there it was perfect condition sitting on the kitchen table.

Fast forward she wanted to use the board with me and after some hesitation i decided why not. Her grandpa had recently passed and she wanted to reach out to him. So we used it a few times and it was definetly working things were responding to intimate questions, had also said me and the girlfriend were actually together in a past life giving names and dates and such. Which we confirmed were actual people using the internet.

So i was alone one night and decided I would try the board out of curiosity. I was asking questions and something was responding. So i got brave and asked that they show themselves, the thing stopped moving, and i **** you not there was a knock at the door, i literally **** myself and goosebumps went through my whole body, I decided to go to the door i peeped through the whole and there was a lady there looked like a ginger but the eyes were completely dark, I began to get very scared, i ran back to the board and "closed" the game ran back to door swung it open and nothing. Just completely vanished. I have not used the board I will never use one again and we immediately sold it.

Second story: I will sum up very short. My daughter was young in the crib age at night so we would use a baby monitor which had sound and picture. So every night we would use it when she went to bed. And sometimes I would hear her waking up in the middle of the night and start talking. A few time later I just happened to be watching it and sure enough I see an orb shooting across the room. I had complete goosebumps and I was like wtf. So I started watching more and more and I would see these orbs very small sometimes moving fast sometimes slow I even saw multiple orbs. But one night in particular I was watching the monitor and suddenly I saw a softball size orb forming on the floor than it shot across the room (her room is next to the living room) and I'm in the living room and then the same exact time it shot across the room, which then in theory it woulda went through the wall and ended up in the living room the power went out only in the living room. After that i never seen another one. During these orb encounters I was never scared or felt any negativity, it was really just interesting.

That orb one was similar to a story I have. My dog was acting crazy one night. She was running in circles in the living room then she would just stop and look up at the ceiling, shooting her head back and forth. I got out my phone and started filming it because it was pretty funny. When I played back the video, there was a light orb shooting around the room and my dog seemed to be playing with it, or vice versa.

My mind is open, carry on.

This is where MSPaint skills would come in handy. Between the edge of the cemetery and where the car was parked was a very open stretch of land. Nowhere to hide, and there's no way the old lady could have been hiding far away and stealthily sprinted to the front of the car while we were entering it. 0% chance a human could move fast enough to get from closest hiding place to car unnoticed while we were entering, nevermind a 100 year old woman.
