What you need to do is punch 'em straight in the face, hard as you can, yeahhhhhhh.

It's due to the tactics of leftists and their dominance of society currently . There are no platforms to get a message out, so YouTube became a way to do so, at length.

With video, it is easier to hoist your opponents up by their own petard.

140 characters and doxing via Facebook both don't lend itself well when criticizing the Left. SJWs were notorious for going after employers during the Great Meme War.
06-02-2017 , 12:46 PM
It's essentially a losing battle. People who fight against it are opening themselves up to danger. If you criticize the left you risk social, professional and personal danger.

Some people just DGAF. I mostly don't, but I turn it down at work, even though that has changed recently. The utter hatred for the left is growing, and people are openly accepting they are indefensible. It's glorious.
06-02-2017 , 12:52 PM
RE the meme war, tru dat. Those guys slay the "SJW" community in much the same way Jon Stewart and co have been doing for years to right wingers, with satire (and often misrepresentation). What's good for the goose I guess. These are culture wars. We gotta laugh at each other, and hopefully ourselves sometimes.

This antifa girl explains it pretty well on Shia LeBoufs virtue signal cam:

Those antisemitic pepe memes do seem to be catching on.
06-04-2017 , 08:36 AM
^^I love it when Faith Goldy, Michael Savage, Gavin McGinnes, Steven Crowder, Stephan Molyneux, Ben Shapiro, Ann Coulter and the like just crush certain peoples dreams as they expose the psychopothy perpetuated by those very same dreams

Hahaha I gotta say Contrapoints is about the best of the best of the pro SJW utoobers.

I think Youtube has established itself as the premier locus of new/alternative video media, and despite recent advertising setbacks, it's really beginning to give the MSM a run for it's money. For those of you new to the world of Youtube politics, let me give a brief lay of the land:

The Young Turks - left/progressive
https://youtu.be/CbbUmFvTXwI
One of the oldest news channels on Youtube, TYT began in 2005 and have accumulated 3.3MM subscribers. They put out tons if content, and will be a favorite of many here on the left.

The David Pakman Show -left/middle
https://youtu.be/WS1ie0vPXqI
Smaller channel, but I like this guy.

Phillip DeFranco - middle of the road
https://youtu.be/Bhro-CO1QA4
News/pop culture, also very old channel with over 5MM subs. I always try to get my daily dose of PhillyD.

Colin's Last Stand - right/libertarian
https://youtu.be/P5HBTGr_h7s
Newer channel devoted to in depth social and political analysis.

The Rubin Report - left/libertarian
https://youtu.be/lpit8jc3NeI
Left in the way Bill Maher is left, ie certain parts of the left have disowned him, meaning he's now far right. Interview show.

Tim Pool - left/also "far right"
https://youtu.be/c1D76eiVKko
Investigative, out in the street video journalism, reporting/commentary. Came up and got popular covering the Occupy Wall Street movement, now shunned by certain parts of the left for daring cover the the so called "alt right".

Steve Shives - left/progressive
https://youtu.be/qJXzRvVKQ-I
Mostly commentary on social justice stuff. A lot of the same sort of drivel you find around here, ie, cringworthy, but some interesting points of view as well.

Contrapoints - left/progressive
https://youtu.be/zPa1wikTd5c
My favorite of the social justice advocates so far. Mostly stuff Steve Shives tries to say but smarter.

Laci Green - left/progressive
https://youtu.be/nQ1ga8yuM50
The most popular feminist on Youtube with over 1.5MM subs, she recently decided to reach out to her critics on the "anti-sjw" side and plans to host discussions with them. Mostly embraced by those critics for being open minded, largely reviled and shunned by her former "allies" for being a traitor to the cause.

Sargon of Akad - left/right, who knows he's British
https://youtu.be/I50pk8Si0aI
Large presence in the "skeptic" community, probably the biggest "anti-sjw", considered far right by certain parts of the left even though he hates neonazis like Richard Spencer and identity politics in general.

Roaming Millenial - conservative
https://youtu.be/iwAkF9m8_Pg
Political and social commentary. She seems pretty smart for a right winger, but when I tune in it's for her gorgeous eyes.

Some Black Guy - not sure/prob "alt right"
https://youtu.be/1J7nulZnHw4
Another millennial sick of how far off social justice has strayed from reality, I haven't watched very much of his stuff but figure we needed some diversity up in her.

That's a small taste of politically-aimed content out there on Youtube. I thought about including links to some of the "anti-sjw" channels devoted to mostly laughing at "sjw" silliness like Bearing, Shoe0nhead, Andiwarski et al, but I've already received a warning from Whosnext for posting such "offensive" content.

Anyway, I think it's pretty clear new internet media, like Youtube, Facebook and to a certain extent, Twitter, are only growing in popularity (although any of those platforms may eventually be replaced by another iteration), and they will thus continue to play a growing role in shaping the political discourse worldwide. I also have a working theory that blames our current political craziness on these new forms of media - for another thread. But needless to say, this new internet media isn't going away, and I think some of the content is really good, so we may as well embrace it.

you missed all the really dank edgy channels on youtube
06-24-2017 , 10:52 PM
Roaming used to be my favorite channel back when she used spreadsheets and an avatar. The minute she showed her face the entire channel has become about how pretty she is and she just keeps slathering on more make up and pandering to those people.

It is essentially a disruptive vehicle which is highly addictive in it's current form. I access YouTube as much as I do any other single portal except Google.

I guess we'll see how this all shakes out, but it's a notable accomplishment. If you'd have told me years ago I'd constantly be searching YouTube I'd have laughed at you.

Stumbled on another pretty awesome youtube commentator, Razorfist. Lol here he rants about Antifa: (NSFW)
08-06-2017 , 09:04 PM
We know you like those pro-Trump commentators.

Antifa, the strategy? Whatabout countertota organizing?

Peterson has a 60k/mo Patreon account. Gives me some hope we can still rescue a world from mysticism and tyranny.
