Meh, my mistake about 5ive, but spanktehbadwookie is a fine replacement, an SMP'er who thinks s/he thinks logically, but is actually as clear as mud, and would learn that with a humbling IQ test for $100 but I digress.

Tssk, Tssk. Guessing what people think is a huge hole. Don't fall in.

Meh, I usually take my educated guesses to the bank at the poker table. Besides, you're still deciding whether to call my value bet or not. I mean, we can see who's a more educated guesser if you'd agree to an IQ test with a friendly-to-combative wager of $100. Otherwise my read is that you're intent on being littlejerry.jpg, and essentially muddy the waters of every thread you touch, but it's by nature and not by choice because you're reasoning skills are little-to-none. You don't mean to waste my time, but you just do it by nature.

I put einbert on ignore. Clearly a democrat princess, mucking up the Milo thread, which I care nothing about. Occassionaly einbert might say something meaningful, but -EV. I'm sure most people will remember the Milo thread derail of March 17th, 2017 as wil's fault.

I am surprised at your objection to microbet as i often fins microbet to be incredibly measured and logical in his posting.

Yes, well I think his post on libertarians working on unification theory with communists was not thought out.

Found it.

Wound-up being a rabbit hole full of nothing.

I'm just devastated! I won't get to have such banal and vapid conversations with you as your ACist derail any more.

This is my favorite from the microbet mini-saga.

Yeah, it occurred to me while I was out that you might have flipped out about that sentence.

Here he's just flatly wrong, and lol, apparently I "flipped out", though I don't remember it. There are many contemporary artists who do their work relatively free from the man as well as philosophers, and mathematicians, etc. Though I do give him some credit.

I dont think he was implying all artists are government sponsored?

Pretty straightforward question, his goto isn't roads, defense or other public goods, which I'd understand scepticism, but instead, poets, philosophers, and mathematicians.

That there are many achievements in poetry, philosophy, and the sciences independent of government does not invalidate the many achievements in these arenas that would not have come to light or would have been delayed in their development without the support of government.

I am not quite sure what your objection is.

Also, if you find defense as a more reasonable response, then surely you would have to group mathematics and physics as reasonable as well.

I think with geniuses it's in their nature. For example, you can find geniuses behind the Soviet block, but I'd hardly call it a model for society. By the same token, Bill Gates doesn't prove capitalism. It's just way out of left field, the history of poets, mathematicians, etc. as evidence? WTF? And, he didn't connect his point in any real way. He just left it as self-evident. And, then by the same token, he goes on a tangent as to "who would look into the future" (paraphrasing), and you can look around the various societies, and see people looking in the future. Though I'd say civilization has far more to do with it in that question, because when you have private property there is more incentive to look into the future as to what that private property will look like, hence investing firms, etc. He's smart, but he's far-out on his armchair in that thread, imho.

You lost me. It is in the nature of geniuses to do what?

No one is pro Soviet block style government.

My point is that there are geniuses regardless of what type of government is, and I suppose my other point is that private property is more fundamental to civilization than government, which is why you'll find more visionaries in a society with more private property rights. There are other determining factors to the success of a civilization as well, of course. You'll find geniuses regardless, because geniuses are largely born geniuses.

And, you know I could get into the private property vs government discussion as a basis for civilization, but I am just so bored with the in-the-box thinking, internet was created by government ergo we all ought to give thanks to the government. It is not worth my time.

How can we dance on your graves, if you keep reaching up out of the dirt ??

Is this still where we go to call out bull**** from P Alpha? Because if so daaaammmn, Keeeed calls me a piece of ahit repeatedly, I make fun of the fact that I literally clean **** off my ass with his life's work (he makes TP), and I get banned for multiple days for 'losing my ****'.

Would love to learn what rule I broke, and how not banning the guy who repeatedly broke the forum's most well known rule (no personal attacks) that triggered my **** getting lost (posting more than usual = losing my **** maybe? Idk) makes any sense.

Like I appreciate and respect Wookie as a mod than most any of the undesirables around these parts, but that was some bull****.
04-11-2017 , 01:25 AM
you sound mad bro. Honestly you're lucky you weren't permabanned or exiled. Obviously I wasn't banned because I didn't do anything wrong, but you broke multiple rules and were let off very very light.

But I'm quite happy that you're still very very mad. Hilarious!
04-11-2017 , 01:27 AM
Also bro I never called you a piece of ****, I said that if someone plays poker on their work computer on company time they are a piece of ****. If that description applies to you then ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
