  This election was pretty much perfect. The time to vote was too long in the first round, but that was corrected going forward. The Head-2-head format really encouraged the trash talking. Two very picayune quibbles: the system that the MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL uses where teams are re-bracketed after each round is superior to a fixed bracket, as used in this election. Also... the finals should not have been multi-vote (for aesthetics reasons only).

  Since this election didn't reach a quorum, it can't be considered wildly successful. However, it did end up accomplishing what it was intended to do: legitimize ikestoys title. Two things I would have done differently: first I set the quorum way too high for today's Baja Politards. Second, instead of being silly, and listing a buncha 'colorful' posters, I should have played it straight by, say, picking the top nine in cumulative Bad Poster votes (see chart below), plus a write-in spot of course.

  This is the election that spat out co-title holders. Some, including SenorKeeed himself, consider that alone to be a fail. Other than that fiasco, this election was also marred. Now... I don't blame the Committee, they worked long and hard on this project. But they sure didn't pick a very good spokesperson. Now, before we get to the quibbles... it should be pointed out that the overall overall format of this election was sound. This wasn't a long-running tournament without any need for expediency... The old, tired, Bad Poster thread had been crippled without a real title holder for way to long. The June 1st deadline had come and gone. Something needed to be done in a timely manner.
  
  However, although the minimum Baja post requirements were stated, they weren't consistently repeated in all the relevant threads. The fact there was only one preliminary round was never made clear. The number of posters going to the finals should have been specified (not a vague 2 or 3), there wasn't near enough time for nominations, or enough time for voting in the preliminary round.
