Your distinction, in the rules, between racist and non-racist statements is unclear.

Inherent to example #1 is that "nobody wants to look at giraffes". But that is just as racist--in the sense of being insensitively cruel about the nature of a class of individuals--as "giraffes are tall necked freaks". Yet only the second is prohibited.
If you have no basis for distinguishing between racism and non-racism then all your moderation on that account is arbitrary.
