PU is modded very loosely, no one will be be banned for something they said the first time they say it. Because of this I see no need to try to have an extensive list of rules that completely cover everything you can't do in the forum, it's impossible and just feeds rules lawyers who raise a fuss because "show me the rule I broke." I've seen 1 instance of this since I've been modding PU and after letting the poster know not to do it there was a little discussion about it in one of the ****ty poster threads. Try and keep up.

it's not a rule. just a guideline as to where to draw the line on insults. finding somebody's facebook page and making fun of the way they look is another example of a potential problem.

My interpretation of it it is it's ok to insult a poster because they are in the thread and can respond in kind but bringing in third parties that can't respond is problematic. So far it is a very minor thing though.

I do feel children do better when their parents aren't bigots. That is true.
