LOL, typical. Wil gets a question he can't answer so instead insults the questioner, what an *******.
01-23-2017 , 03:39 PM
Constantly explaining trivially easy things to fat nerds on the internet gets old. His statement was idiotic.
01-23-2017 , 03:40 PM
Wil insults!

Can someone direct me to the speech Milo has made that encourages violence against marginalized groups? Is the article talking about physical violence, like the type people are encouraging toward fascists in the other thread, like Trump talked about punching protesters, or "verbal violence," like hate speech? I've seen the term violence used that way before.

It's not a article, it's a press release. The mandate of a GDC doesn't include having 'productive conversations'. Consider that mention as an expression of an opinion.

None of this shiz is the point anyways.

Going back to UC Davis, we know that the UC Police met with the AS, and the AS Young Republican club, and the younger republicans choose to voluntarily cancel the book selling event.

I wasn't privy to that meeting, of course. However, it is laughably absurd to imagine the UC police saying they couldn't handle escorting a few fans of fascist fiction across a picket line. What they almost certainly said was they had reason to believe the book selling event would attract the kinda peeps who would come armed to campus, and who just might shot somebody, maybe even in the stomach. They cautioned the younger republicans that there really isn't anything they can do about that. And then younger republicans, to their credit, choose not to so endanger their campus community.

Milo's greatest risk is being shot accidentally by one of his own book customers.

To recap: a dude got shot in the stomach. This fool goofs. I call him out for goofing about a person being shot in the stomach. This fool doubles down on the goofing.

Lady and gentlemen... the Odi Award winning wil318466.

So no evidence of Milo calling for violence? So why do people keep calling him a fascist, something everyone seems to agree deserves at least a punch in the face (don't we all), but others seem to think more violence is justified to stop fascists. Shouldn't we be careful how we toss around such an accusation?
01-24-2017 , 12:08 AM
There's no logic the SJW weirdos. They just want to show how much they love black people. Or hate whites. Or something.
01-24-2017 , 12:28 AM
Wil once again ignores what he is being called out for; making fun of someone getting shot in the stomach by a white supremacist and continues to call people names.

Stay classy dude.

LOL wow what a groundbreaking take here. FoldN, mad that people called a right winger a mean name? Now I've seen everything!

What's next, wil explicitly adopting white supremacist rhetoric about the left?

It just seems a tad ironic that those condemning someone for calling for violence (without any evidence, at least not forthcoming) are themselves apparently calling for violence.
01-24-2017 , 12:41 AM
Meh, he has a crapton of followers that he didn't call off of Leslie Jones after he started tweeting **** at her. At a certain point that is close enough to inciting people to do horrible things that I don't have a problem with calling it inciting people to do violence.

Seriously, we should all be physically careful around the fanbois of this Milo dude. White Supremacists have a long history of IRL violence.

In comparison, posting anonymously in an off-topic forum on a poker site isn't really something we really need to be really careful about.

Dude, you just claimed the IWW is calling for violence. Shame on you for spreading such foul calumny. Even in a /|\ thread, I find your behavior way over the line. I find it personally offensive in the light of one of my brothers being shot in the stomach.

Have you no shame?
01-24-2017 , 12:54 AM
Wait, did the IWW call him a fascist too? How did I miss that? Link?
01-24-2017 , 01:03 AM
Ok I've read the first 5 pages of this thread and the only actual idea of Milo's I saw was that repression of gays was good because being gay secretly was fun. That sounds like some sort of vile adaptation of the southern revisionist reverence for its idyllic, peaceful, slave state in the wake of the "problem" of black independence. Milos's argument was destroyed utterly by 13ball.

So does this guy have any thoughts which aren't just pure, shallow instigation and that have any resistance to blunt, head on attacks? I'd like to know, from any of his fans, what key idea of his, or recapitulation of his, most earns him their respect.
01-24-2017 , 01:19 AM
About the only thing I've seen that he makes much sense on is free speech. Otherwise he's pretty much a big fat troll, imo.

Nobody condemned Milo for "calling for violence", what are you even talking about?

This is the same Orwellian word torture thing you did earlier in the thread about whether civility to bigots was a liberal value, you've somehow gaslighted yourself so hard that people calling Milo a fascist(which, given how trolly he is, who knows) is an accusation of violence and so you're real ****ing excited over the opportunity to XPOSE THE LIBS, but you're so ****ing dumb you skipped the step where everyone agreed that the sole and only thing that makes someone fascist is explicitly calling for violence.

Hate speech has implicit physical violence baked in. That's, like, 1 of the entire points.
