Please share with the forum what you've read that gives you such keen insight on such a wide variety of topics. We would love to know what has educated you so much, lol.

Keep in mind how much you've been wrong about everything lately.

"If book learning was so good how come you predicted the result of one election incorrectly"

Gotcha, nerds.

Does Milo believe he should have the right to marry the love of his life?

Man, I done seen some weird ****ing takes in this forum, but "What's the big deal with reading, anyway?" is a new low.

HOT TAKE: Reading books is a good way to learn about the world. Discuss.
01-16-2017 , 12:22 AM
What's really funny is not one person can name a single thing they've read. "Oh my god wil doesn't read anything!" "Well, what have you read?" "Never mind that, you don't read anything!"

As always, idiocy from the 2+2 morons.

Books are the devil's work.

Y'all hear.

If I posted the history from my Goodreads account, would that really advance the conversation?

I will bet you $1,000 I read a book last month. <-- Big Dick-Swinging Bet

This Vast Southern Empire by Matt Karp was the last nonfiction book I read, wil, but I don't think you'd like it. For one thing, it's full of words.

For another, and this is more generally why recommending books to you is a waste of time, you can't report pages and whine to the mods to ban the author when he says something that you disagree with.

Like, did you think you were gonna STUMP us on this?

When I asked you when you had read a book I assumed you wouldn't answer but I didn't fully calculate that your anti-intellectual culture wouldn't make you ashamed of not reading.

I wouldn't take a bet from you.

I'm not anti-intellectual at all. I have no qualms about other people reading whatever they wish, I simply don't. I'm not going to lie about it, I'm not you. I have a full plate the last few years, spending hours reading isn't a luxury I have even if I wanted to.

But you go ahead and become that, uh, intellectual. It really shines through.

One thing intellectuals can do is understand how symbolic logic works, you should think of picking up a book on that Wil...

Who really is the person acting like a big ****ing baby here?

If that's the case you should pick up a whole lotta books, kerowo. You obsessing over my posting history is amusing. Get off my dick.

You made me read the spanking thread again to make sure you hadn't actually changed your view on punching children in the head and I found that gem. You couldn't understand JJ's argument and probably still can't because he used variables in a logical statement. No matter what you call me you can't unring that bell.

Heck, I read 3 books yesterday.

Do audio books count?

It's entirely possible, though I feel blasphemous even acknowledging it, the spank-debate thread is more peak-wil than the ability-of-the-poor thread.

He says he reads 'current events'. There's a which-periodicals-Palin moment here somewhere.

It's even more interesting postMAGA. All those think-pieces about all those trump voters don't even compare to wil essentially live-blogging his awakening/coming-out-of-the-conservative closet over the years with what, I've now figured out, was unintentional brutal honesty. His evolution is so simple yet so fascinating.

The only way I know how to do that is to take the best things in my life I've learned and throw away the bad things I've experienced and hope for the best.

If I was just a racist conservative **** I'd simply not say a word and just believe what I believe, but I come here and discuss something and all of a sudden I'm a callous racist ****?

I think single liberals have the luxury to be all kumbuya, but when you have a responsibility to raise a child, that luxury goes the **** away.

It's a slippery slope.

If books are so great then how come so few of them are made into movies?
