The "97%" story is the usual circle jerk of right wing nonsense.

The 97% estimate comes from three different papers with different methods. (One actually found 98% agreement). The reason that they did those studies was because people denied the consensus. Now wil says they just made up 97% to convince people. Never read the studies. Has no idea what he's talking about. He just "feels" it's wrong because liberals enrage him.

It's also bad for the right wing in the long run.

It's misleading. It's used as a talking point to make people believe the science is done and it's a lock that it's correct.
