Yeah it's fun. Cricket, 301 are the money games. Sometimes 501 or Chicago. 5-20 bucks a game. Things get interesting at 230am when they lock the doors and people start playing for hundreds.

The different forums serve different purposes:
- alpha is a great place to get informed. People there follow the news and post about it, and additionally post interesting articles with various analysis on it. People in P7 avoid the news like the plague if it isn't bad for Muslims or good for Trump, so this forum is absolutely awful for educational value or knowing what's going on in the world.
- this is a better place than alpha to engage with the opposite side, though it's still pretty bad for that purpose; when's the last time you saw an actual policy discussion here? It's mostly still poo-flinging back and forth, and I wouldn't be posting here at all if content threads didn't exist because then every discussion would just be name-calling like in this thread. Really the only benefit P7 provides is watching right-wingers squirm and never answer any of the negative news posted in the Trump thread, which is amusing enough to be worthwhile.

You overstate, by a lot, how much arguments matter here. Read any mongidig post ever to see what I mean. You have to make arguments in alpha at least as much as here, that isn't where the difference lies.
