A conservative hearing "save the planet" from a liberal speaker is not the same as a minority student hearing "blacks are dumb" or "kill the Arabs" from a conservative speaker.

When a liberal speaker comes to speak at a college campus, conservative students might not like the speaker, but there is no valid reason for them to feel personally threatened or obligated to respond in some way.

A rightwing speaker coming to campus presents a different set of questions for many of the opposing students on campus. Minority students can feel justifiably threatened by the atmosphere created by some right wing speakers. They can reasonably view the invitation of that speaker as a sanctioning of hateful views of the speaker, as if the university itself is saying it's ok to threaten certain groups on campus. I don't think minority students, or those students who care about the welfare of minority students, should be burdened with formulating responses to the presence of those who promote violence and separatism.

Liberal speakers promote ideas like "respect women" or "treat black people fairly". A conservative might disagree with that message but has no cause to feel threatened by it.

A conservative speaker, like Ann Coulter from the clip, says things like we should nuke the entire Middle East. So if I am a student of Middle Eastern descent it is much more critical for me to have to decide how I am going to respond to such a presence. Having to worry about how the message of the right wing speaker might affect the campus, my physical safety, and deciding my personal responsibility to combat what I see as a dangerous message are the sort of burdens which are unfairly heaped on the favorite target groups of conservatives, namely minorities and women.

You don't think a simple google search would show some terrible and threatening things radical feminists have said about men? People supporting ecoterrorism? Terrible things said about white people? Support of Isreal? Support of Palestine? You don't think many people are shocked and hurt by talk of abortion? I'm sorry Deuce, free speech protects everyone's right to express themselves, despite anyone else's feeling, not just those you happen to side with.
