A visual illustration of Politics 7.0:

That's cool. So it's based on that comic (according to knowyourmeme).

Hey, I still haven't heard what happened. Truly, believe it or not.

That said, I'll assume this Repub politician attacked a reporter without justification - like was this at a closed campaign event, where the reporter had broken in - I don't know. Assuming not, that it was just a press conference, then obviously the politician is an idiot, and violating free speech (and more so, free press) would be atrocious. Vile.

I don't appreciate any implications that most conservatives would support violations of free speech and press. That is mistaken.

Most conservatives were making excuses for the assault.

So they were doing exactly what the alot of the left were doing after Berkely then? Except those assaults were premeditated and en mass.

One doesn't excuse the other if you failed to condemn the violent section of the left and are spitting with rage at this incident you are a big hypocrite. Similarly if your on the right and make excuses for this guy but are upset about Berkely you are also a hypocrite. What happened in Berkeley is more sickening to me though.

Not saying this to you directly more in general as alot on this forum couldn't bring themselves to condemn pepper spraying women, launching fireworks into the crowd or hitting passive people with bike locks.

The guy in question here is obviously a thin skinned buffoon (reminds me of someone) and what he did was inexcusable. Its just jarring to me to see the hypocrisy.

What assaults in Berkeley? The ones by Bikers for Trump?

Windows getting assaulted?

AND AND AND Antifa are not democrats or liberals and they are not running for office!

It's good to see a real man act BA and put the wimp in his place. That's what I call strong leadership.

"A lot" of the left? I don't think so.

The fact that this guy actually has power and the protesters have next to zero power means you have it wrong.

I have no idea who you are talking about here. Obviously those people should be arrested and not serve in the US congress.

We know you get erections from political violence.

After signing a bill to reduce handgun license fees on Friday, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) fired some shots at an indoor shooting range.
He then held up his target sheet and quipped, “I’m gonna carry this around in case I see any reporters,” according to the Texas Tribune.
It's just a matter of time until some deranged right winger assassinates a journalist.

What is it with leftists that they often mention erections when they talk about political violence?

Erections are a joking way to refer to someone who enjoys political violence.

It's troubling that you find my metaphors more troubling than mongigig's enthusiasm for political violence against non violent protesters and journalists.

And here's Sheriff Clarke and the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office response to a guy who shook his head at Sheriff Clarke on a plane:

Quote:
Sheriff Clarke commented on complaint sent to the media:
Next time he or anyone else pulls this stunt on a plane they may get knocked out. The Sheriff said he does not have to wait for some goof to assault him. He reserves the reasonable right to pre-empt a possible assault.
Clarke already used the power of the state to harass the guy. Now he's claiming he will assault people who shake their head at him.

I'm sure all the right wingers concerned about free speech will criticize this as soon as--

I can't even finish typing it. You guys don't care about free speech. You're hypocrites of the highest order. You are fans of fascism and political violence. You are no better than antifa and far, far, far more dangerous.

Please stop lumping us all together. See my comment below, which I made above just a few responses up.

Hey, I'm glad you're one of the good ones. There ain't many.
05-26-2017 , 06:50 PM
Thank you. I know tons of conservatives, who would never say the **** that Mongidig says against free speech. I seriously think he's just trolling, enjoying pissing off mostly liberals, and sometimes me.

It's even more troubling that you lot even jokingly refer to someone getting sexual excitement out of political violence.

Speaks more to your own predilections imo.

Spoiler:
Mongidig's just winding you up.

LOL. Quote any post of mine where I have supported violence.

Or apologize for lying.
