Manson is mostly remembered for all the murderin' he ordered, but there was an explicit political motivation behind it. He was trying to start a race war, one which would result in all the whites except for him and his harem being slaughtered. Then he would emerge from his underground bunker and rule the world, because the remaining black people would be incapable and he "would scratch [the black man's] fuzzy head and kick him in the butt and tell him to go pick the cotton and go be a good ******".
These are visionary ideas for a new world order, and are worthy of respectful consideration. It is also important to point out that Manson himself never killed anybody, but has been imprisoned for 9 life sentences for crimes he did not personally commit. Is it just to imprison a man for 7 murders committed by other people?
Poor Charlie has been condemned as a monster by the public for decades. Now that he is on his deathbed, it is only fair to give his political views an impartial hearing. Every opinion deserves civil discussion.
He didn't kill thousands upon thousands of his own people, murder or lock up gays and artists, so he won't be loved by the Left like Castro was, if that's what you meant.
