My quip is this: Trump's like God. All that you have to do to make him love you is for you to love him. I guess that for those of us who think that the most popular clown in the circus got elected POTUS just have to hope for the best.
To put the beauty queen Twitter thing in context, the HRC campaign pretty much was all about attacking TRUMP as unqualified, untrustworthy, dangerous and what have you (yes TRUMP did his share of attacking HRC). TRUMP fought that every inch of the way. The beauty queen was drug up by the HRC campaign to promote the idea that TRUMP was anti-woman. A campaign tactic that is ok. Sure that was a mistake by TRUMP. However, in the larger view of the campaign, it was part of the strategy to fight back against the HRC negative campaign tactics aggressively. Negative campaigning very often works well and TRUMP countered HRC tactics pretty well obviously.
Btw, I know HRC had a web site where you could read about her positive vision for America because she frequently indicated on the stump that people could go there if they wanted to read about it. That is pretty weak way to convey your positive message. FWIW better to actually sell that vision on the stump.
HRC supporters in my view need to come to grips with the fact that HRC blew an election.
