Well, in the end, us outside users are only guessing. Even the Admins are guessing in the end... as IP/MAC id/bans aren't really hard to spoof or circumvent.

The dude in question has consistently claimed he ain't thekid345, he's given particular evidence regarding posting styles (which hasn't been disputed), the time line doesn't really add up, and we have that pesky fact that nobody who is in a position to know has claimed there is any IP/MAC connection.

On the other hand, low key is too clever and one of the trollies is bewildered

I *believe* that thekid345 had several gimmicks, and had even been outed as playing sock-puppet with himself. I know he had a 'distinct style', so to speak... but I'll admit I've never read the threads he posted in. I *believe* he was subject to Admin level scrutiny regarding IP/MAC issues.

So, it all really doesn't add up. Is the 'distinct style' really evident? I'll admit IDK... but I've never seen anyone seriously compare them. More importantly, if thekid345 is technically capable of making IP/MAC proof gimmicks... why only this one? What about the others before and after?

The style is distinct, but even more so is the narrow range of subject matter. And yes, there are others, before and after. Which makes it extra sad to think of how much time he spends setting up proxies.

My writing style is nothing like TheKid's. You haven't been paying attention. Subject matter you're right though- we had interest in similar topics, which is why I was so familiar with his work.

TheKid would argue in RGT with one of his first multi-accounts "FreedomFighter", not sure if that one is banned yet, probably long gone. Mods have already pointed out that TheKid made like 10 accounts immediately after "TheKid345" was banned, they all had the same IP as far as I know, I think Wookie has been the one banning his alts though I think he made a few posts in PU as well. I would assume by now he's IP banned and has finally figured out the use of proxies to make his new accounts... and all of his accounts have been very singular in purpose and very quickly banned thereafter.

NC looks a bit like thekid
NC looks too clever a gimmick to be thekid
