I have rough ideas for Steps PC... I came up with this today so this is first draft.

Yes, I am surprised they have not run much yet. If a SNG doesn't run, I will probably just wait until July 2 and try to satty in that way.

Always 3 moving up. By having more people moving up it will increase the rate at which the higher steps will run

Winning_td only change I would make is have a 50 dollar step for Punta and give tickets to that instead of doing a MTT every week for sit n crush

This is a reason why I and I'm sure others didn't play them. If you let people cash them out for T$ there's no question they'd run more often.

What would you call it?

You can split it into two groups of unused tickets:

1. People who got a ticket from SNC.

2. People who bought into the steps directly with $ and won a higher step ticket.

If they don't want to give cash value to group 1, I would understand. But, to not give cash value to any unused tickets in group 2 would be theft.

Winning_TD just wants the games to run as often as they can. That's a fair goal, but punishing people who don't use their tickets isn't the way to achieve it. It dissuades people from playing.

I would hope so, but it doesn't seem like he's too interested in having a clear cut policy on it (something that should have been stated before introducing them at all).

He's only talked about what he would do for the unused tickets at the highest steps.

I gave my idea earlier in the thread, where the steps should be kept as is, and adjusted accordingly for different 'target' tournaments. His idea for Punta Cana steps have different buy-ins after step 3 so I don't think he was interested in keeping it simple.

The higher steps would probably never run if they allowed people to cash out.

Those steps to PC look pretty good imo, would love to see those run. I think letting people cash out would obviously increase traffic in these. People would still try and use them to sat in and people who grinned them for T$ would still play higher steps after collecting enough of them.
