[QUOTE=Boney526;51372191]^ A weird, but not bad idea for some games. Problem is people don't like things they aren't used to. You could just reg an hour and a half in or something.

Players are used to that already. In everything from freerolls to Big Ten MTTs, people are registering an hour, or several hours, after play has started.

What is "snc"?

Personally, I prefer that over a brand new table of last minute players with starting stacks adding an hour or more til the bubble, except when I'm short stacked on the short table
Yeah, new players are a crap shoot. You might be down to 3 tables, get someone new at the table, and he's the tournament big stack, sitting next to you on your left.

It is almost a certainty that if I join very late that scenario will happen and the BB will be two hands away.

any chance to get some Limit 08 Tourneys or 6 max plo8 tourneys in the mix?

How do the On Demand tournaments work? Are they just SNGs or do they become MTTs because of late registers that join in after it starts?

They start when a certain # of people register and have a short late registration which anyone can join or re-enter if they bust early.

I love the addition of another nightly 8-max tournament. For whatever reason I seem to run super hot in the $44 8-max. The less 9 handed games the better imo!

Would also like to see some rebuy events at a higher buy in. They seem to be pretty small stakes (less than $10) for the most part and the fields are always really good.

It's technically a SNG because it starts when you have enough players, not at a designated time. As far is how it plays, it's just like an MTT with an hour (or whatever the time period is) for re-entries. You don't really know where you stand until late registration is over. Then you know where you are in the field (top 10%, mid-pack or whatever) and how many players you have to get through to make the money or the final table.

I have a question: On, for example, the $1 Holdem Turbo On Demand - it says reentry available and yet IIRC when I played one the other day nobody was allowed to reenter. There was simply a late registration period.

Is the info section of these tournament lobbies just inaccurate/in need of clarification or is there indeed a reentry period? I know there's no addon.

Thanks. I don't want to buy in and go through a tournament just "to see". I did that once and like I said, it didn't seem like anyone could reenter. It seemed like it was freezeout.

edit: I see the same thing for many of GTD MTT's. It says "unlimited reentry available". Is that just during the late registration period or literally, for the entire tournament?

I wish I'd been denied the opportunity to re-enter the OD or MTT games. The SNGs are another thing. OnDemand games are in the tourney tab and the SNG tab, could you possibly have entered into a SNG game, although I know they don't have them for a buck.

Let me add that the noon $2 Omaha R/A does not allow me to re-enter the last month. Soon as I move the mouse over the button, they all disappear and I am booted. The only game that it happens to me.

Just realized the new morning 40+4 nlo8 is the biggest daily buyin for o8 and it's really early. I don't think it got enough people to run today since its not showing as finished in the lobby. Tbh that kind of buy-in would be much much better at about 7 or 8pm EST and change the morning buyin to a 10+1 500 GTD or so.

There was an issue on 1/6 that completely mess up the site, not allowing entry or re-entry in tournaments or OD's. Many tournaments were cancelled. It was about 4:30PM central time when the problem occurred. All OD's and most MTT's are in limited re-entry

Have you tried the auto-rebuy button? There is no re-entry in rebuys.... It's a rebuy.. If its not letting you rebuy then that's a pretty big problem...

As soon as the table opens, the 'rebuy' button is not highlighted, never goes live. The check boxes on the bottom left above chat box are not there, and the manual buttons disappear as soon as the mouse hovers above it. It is only that litte nooner PLO game. Although, the 'rebuy' button often never goes live. That is the only game that the buttons just disappear, ghost buttons. High buyins always seem to be able to accept my money naturally.

Why do the blinds jump from 500-1k to 750-1500 in the $66 $10K? Pretty absurd...

The satellite schedule is so wonky, one day you have one thing and then next something completely different. The 3:30 w/e is running usually has a pretty good mix of satellites, but today the $109 $50K only has hyper satellites? I really think you guys should look into some sort of standardized schedule for all majors or finally go to tickets.

^^^Yes, definitely.

Do certain MTT's count towards SNC? I noticed this in the lobby where it says 5 cents of the rake goes towards "Race Fee"

Also, the nit in me was really bothered by ".50 points awarded when you register." followed by "All points will be awarded at the end of the tournament"
01-18-2017 , 07:45 PM
Yeah I've seen a few smaller mtts count for snc, idk why they count but the points are so small that it doesn't affect things much anyway.

Please make omaha tournaments 6max, especially the NLO8 turbos.

I've found the structures on WPN to be very similar to the live tournaments I play in. It gets very short as you near the FT

Ok super confused, I registered for the 3:30pm "Extreme Tuesday" $10 10k on ACR. Then I noticed the start time shifted to 3:45, then the tourney completely disappeared off my lobby screen (no refund giving), now it's reappeared with a start time of 4pm.

Is this normal and common?
