Guess I just gotta bite my tongue. Had one guy calling me a moron for shoving 55 with a medium stack in a satellite when the blinds were about to hit me, he tank called with AQo from the SB....

then when he lost the flip he started bugging out calling me a moron, etc. etc.

I ended up telling him it was a terrible play to call off his stack on the bubble, and he was convinced that AQ vs 55 the 55 is a favorite cuz he was convinced that'I was wrong. Oh well eventually I just said "good luck" and stopped.

It was just tilting that he CALLED then start complaining when he lost.

i see you made it to that FT. Gonna have to focus myself on the 12500 GTD and homework, so I can't rail. GLGL

Although I am keeping the FT in the corner of my screen.

yeah hanging in there, 5/5 now at the break, this table is psychotic!

FELIPAO just pwned my face with a river overbet bluff. I called turn with ace high thinking I was good but couldn't pull the trigger when he overbet river /sigh

He showed queen high

7/15 in the $2500 gtd also, simultaneous FT's ftw?

Ughhh just lost a huge pot in a disguising spot with A8dd on a 886cc board all in with a guy who had 105cc and rivered a flush. Oh well I played it perfectly, or at least close to it.

Huge being that I had around 8K and now only have 5.5K

09-30-2013 , 09:06 PM
Yeah sitting on 6400 currently in that
09-30-2013 , 09:10 PM
Lol doubled to 180k but then immediately bluffed half of it off
09-30-2013 , 09:10 PM
LOL I'm having trouble focusing on homework.

Shows where my priorities are tonight lol.

F'in f-sticks...

Up to 8500, get AQ, turn flush, dude sick rolled a flopped boat...errrghhh...

Guess I need to find $20 more to get back in this thing. I ain't going out like that.

AK lost to AT in 12.5k =[

guy flops ATx
09-30-2013 , 09:45 PM
Yeah I just lost a pretty significant pot.

I'm sitting at a table with a bunch of nits, plus a few guys that are like 50/10ish.

Just tryinna keep my cool and play as optimally as possible. Just won a big pot so I'm back lol. It's not too hard when they people have PFRs of like 10 or less, their ranges are generally obvious when they raise, then I can play just C bet and give up if they call lol. It's a bit harder against guys with 50 VPIP that can have a huge variety of hands.

Went from 6.5K to 15.3K in one orbit. Awesome.
09-30-2013 , 09:58 PM
Ended up 3rd in the 1K for $130 and 11th in the 2.5k for some insignificant amount...

Now will try to contend with brokefinger on my immediate left with 20 left in this $5k gtd

Just lost a pot to one of those guys who's 39/6 and limped preflop with 7 10o UTG +1.

I had 8 10hh, flop is 67x rainbow, I bet, he calls. flop comes a suited 10, I check, he raises, I shove (for like 6 more BB effective) and he calls and takes it down.

It's a bit trickier playing against these guys, but I think I played it OK.

That with another pot puts me at 9.5 K.

Congrats, take it down! (personally I'm happy with 2nd in the 12.5K GTD haha )

Back down to 5.7K after taking a line I think is bad... Guy who PFRs 10% raises 3x UTG, I call with AK.

He bets half pot after flop, was 5Js9. I raise, which I think was a mistake b/c I could have just folded. He goes all in, I fold.

Am I just being results oriented, or was that terrible?

I was thinking about folding cuz his range is so narrow, but I figure he could fold AK, AQ, AJs, etc.... but thinking about it that's such a small part of his range w/ my blockers. His range hits JJ, 99, etc. and he's probably shoving overcard/flush draws.

Tryinna keep it calm and just play smart.

I run good. not

and boney...what were the blinds..thats one of the most important parts of your story?
09-30-2013 , 10:23 PM
125/250, I also forgot to say that my raise was to 2500 and I was CU. We both had about 11K

Luckily I found another double when some guy bluffs and decides my shove was a rebluff (or maybe he just tilted?)
09-30-2013 , 10:30 PM
I see a debaser at my table...lol.
09-30-2013 , 10:39 PM
Another tough spot, I think I made a good fold though.

LAG troubles lol. Won't bother boring you guys with the details unless you want it.

Sounds spewy-ish, post the whole thing with stacksizes if ya want for more analysis. Vs weak tight guys floating the flop in position is often better since they won't double barrel you with the weaker part of their range on the turn

Stack sizes, was focused on the game while posting and forgot to.

I knew it was a mistake, I thought about folding, then when I made the raise realized it was pretty illogical b/c I'm never calling a shove.
