Right now is a great time for someone to come on and say what is going on with the network?

I would have to think there is someone with a computer on site there that could log on to 2p2 and quickly explain what happened to the MTTs tonight.

They've had some amount of server and/or software issues for a long time, but they've gotten significantly, significantly, better. Give them a few days to get things together and it should be running fine again within a couple days (at least historically, that's what's happened whenever they've had to cancel tournaments a couple days in a row.)

I agree they should make a thread or something about it, but I do think the Rep or someone posted in a thread something about it (I recall him saying it wasn't a capacity issue so they were trying to figure out what it was, or something along those lines.)

What exactly was it that they were busy fixing? I never noticed anything having been fixed while I played there. So many of those quirky software issues that they should be fixing, but don't. Instead they keep doing/adding more things, with more issues.

I don't play mtt's at all, so no amount of WSOP promotion, no $1M gtd promo's, no freebuy bs does anything for me, except annoy me when the promo pop up's constantly cover up bet and pot sizes while I'm trying to play.

I simply want software that works as it's suppose to work, that's all. Bovada does a lot of things that I hate, but their software works, so I went back to playing there. I'd love to have a decent alternative.

In my mind this forum supporting or allowing wpn to advertise or have a sub forum is getting close to questionable if WPN doesn't shape up. I'll most likely be contacting management about this exact issue relatively soon. Same concept as cardplayer mag taking adv$ and supporting lock till their dying days. All US facing unregulated offshore sites need to be watched and verified, not trusted blindly which is what WPN has somehow managed to achieve recently & more power to them but I will speak my mind and stand up for what I feel is right. BV has an endless supply of fish so it's still profitable which makes it a non issue. Im not suggesting WPN is close to LOCK, WPN does pay but they also have tons of fail in them in just about all other areas and it's getting silly and hard to watch or be a part of etc.

Grrrrrr

What exactly is your complaint against WPN?

They have relativley quick payouts, they offer generous promotions, they're fostering an increasing player field, and they communicate to their customers in a variety of venues.

I can't even count the number of times my tournaments have been cancelled in the middle of a game and monies refunded at Bovada withot explanation from anyone, anywhere.

And, oversight? When's the last time you studied the hand histories of a couple players you suspected of collusion at Bovada? Never? Why, because collecting statistical data on players is not allowed there. How can you have oversight at a site with anonymous players. One can't even tell if the players are real, let alone, if they're colluding, short stacking, or going south.

So, what exactly are you trying to say?

My Problem with WPN is what they're doing to the US online poker economy, game quality etc, but not worth going into. I'm not going to do anything or contact anybody, waste of time and energy. I wish y'all the best and success on WPN, maybe i'll play there again someday. I slightly over-served myself adult beverages last night and got a little aggro I apologize. I'll just keep lurking this subforum but keep my negative thoughts, opinions and observations to myself.

@ CJ ya BV has issues also, I don't play there either. As far as WPN fostering a growing player pool that's debatable but a long one that I don't want to be involved in.

I was mainly tilted last night due to WPN's lack of posting ITT but it's also standard and to be expected, I just let it get to me once again.

Nice. I understand the tilt, weird day yesterday. You sound much more intelligible today. All the sites have issues, but what it boils down to, in my mind, is: What are the best options for those in my position (USA), Poker Refugees, not being one of those options. I mean, Bovada's cool but not transparent, while WPN just seems to be trying a little harder than the rest to bring us on board. And the rest of the US friendly sites....well....there's no competition as far as I can judge.

Anyway, no need to be silent on this because all intelligible opinions are a plus one in my book.
