WPN clients on 4k resolution problem WPN clients on 4k resolution problem

Hello there. I bought a new 4k monitor and faced a new problem with WPN client.
I play on PokerKing but this problem exists and on ACR.

Since my monitor is large, I set my scaling to 175% (windows 10) and turn on a "disable scaling at high resolution" on WPN client shortcut
thats what i saw:

With these fonts i cannot use even a table scanner.

The only solution i found is to change scaling to 100% before grinding.
Its very inconvenient to do.

And even then everything is not perfect.
Default fonts have size limitations and look too small.

To change them you need to edit frname.xml. I do not know how.

It would be great if someone helped me
1. Edit frname.xml to make all fonts larger at big table sizes
or
2. Do not allow win10 to change the fonts if the client has "disable scaling at high resolution".

I'd love to know the answer to this, too. Just got a new computer and the graphics/fonts are way worse than they were before.

how were you able to get so many tables on screen easily? I play on a huge 4k tv, and I, for whatever reason, can't fit more than 4 without them overlapping badly.

>Edit, I realized by fooling around a bit. Like you said just scaling issue and fixed it in my display settings

There is a file frname.xml in the client folder.
In it we are interested in lines:
<Property symbol_id = "NamePlateNameFont" id = "28" type = "19"> 4 </ property>
<Property symbol_id = "NamePlateMoneyFont" id = "29" type = "19"> 10 </ property>
<Property symbol_id = "ChipsFont" id = "80" type = "19"> 10 </ property>
<Property symbol_id = "TablePotFont" id = "82" type = "19"> 35 </ property>

Standard sizes 4-10-10-35
If you increase it - fonts will be bigger.
Try different sizes to find perfect.
5-10-10-35
6-12-12-45
10-20-20-75
...

This is not a complete solution, but it will help a bit.

This is a very common issue with high DPI monitors and software that doesn't like to scale (your 175% setting)

Until their software is optimized for high DPI displays, your best bet is to keep everything at 100% without scaling.
