The World Series of Jackpots The World Series of Jackpots

There should probably be some sort of description for these. The "Game Details" link from the lobby only describes the standard Jackpots.

Mentioned these will be added to the Sit n Crush? Has the Jackpot Poker been added? Sorry was away in El Paso for a week.

All Jackpots, regular ans WSOP, should be counting now.

w a 75% top 2 rate one could make 25% roi per game if did the math correctly. doesnt seem impossible to achieve. probably a large edge to be had by abusing stacks.

Confirmed. All is well with Sit & Crush. They are all contributing.

Yeah, at this point, there is only a red link on the main Jackpot Poker page "CLICK HERE TO SEE MORE DETAILS ABOUT THE WSOP JACKPOTS" when a player clicks on the "Game Details".

edited post. I think one could make pretty huge winrates but you'd have to play a metric **** ton to really see it come to fruition.

More like 2% ROI.

meh u might be right

I think you guys need to do a better job educating the rest of the player pool on the payouts for these and how they work. I know its in the game details link but its all the way on the bottom and not everyone will see it. Maybe include a seperate WSOP Game Detail link

I actually have to agree with the ones saying this isn't a great idea only because at least with the regular jackpots, you actually won. This is basically playing the lottery at $3 or $30 a pop.

I actually read the email (not around here much these days) to mean that you bought in for $3 or $30 and played on until you didn't finish 1st or 2nd. I was ultra confused when the 1st one I played ended and that was that after the first guy got KO'd.

Re-read and get it now obviously. But at least for the WSOP draw itself, I think a better idea would have been cheap entry tournaments with packages awarded at the top instead. This is just throwing money at the wall and hoping it sticks.

Could you please list only $12500 winners in the lobby? The winners' list might get too cluttered if 2-3 BI winners are included (right now, even re-entry winners are listed, lol).

This seems like a waste of time. Play a $30 lottery sng, just don't finish last

Alas these tourneys are not as popular as the WPN expected. I was able to get only 11 $30s going within half an hour at a peak time, having 2 tables running at once on average, even though I was always registered for 1-3 more tourneys (i.e. wanted to play all tourneys the seating algorithm could give me). I can't complain about cashing in 9 out of the 11, though (which was lucky because the rec-to-reg ratio isn't as spectacular as expected ). Their average duration was 5.9 minutes, i.e. about as long as a winner-take-all JPT.

Suprised I thought they would take off, I think the players that don't follow 2+2 just don't have an idea yet on how these work. They need to promote them more in the lobby with a banner and have their own section to explain payouts.

Also with no tournament summary prize pool info there is no way to differentiate these and regular jackpots in hm2/pt4 right?
05-27-2015 , 12:38 AM
To begin with, PT4 doesn't even detect most of the tourneys correctly (processed only 2 out of my 11). We need to send HH files to developers of HM2/PT4 and see what they can do about the situation.

WSOP jackpots can be told from non-WSOP ones by just the BI amount (which is included into the tourney name anyway).

Nvm, it imported all 11 but assigned different flags to them, so all but 2 accidentally got filtered out in a report. It only needs to start detecting the buy-in and assigning flags correctly.

These have only been available for less than 20 hours. We've not even begun to market them yet. That, and the urgency to get a WSOP main event seat will increase in the next couple weeks.

The $12,500 winners will be at the top of the list for 3 days when they win.

Thanks, being shown at the top for long enough (if I win the big prize) is exactly what I needed!
05-27-2015 , 11:06 AM
nuttin like playing 50 of these so far to breakeven or lose .woo hoo
05-27-2015 , 11:39 AM
I actually like these so far. The only changes I would make would be to just cut out the middle payouts and have them distributed to the non-jackpot games so that players might have a chance to break even and maybe actually make money with RB/S&C until they hit a jackpot. Or an even better option ( IMO) is to have hyper step sngs. But all in all I like the way things are.

If you're playing those $3s for profit, you should probably have a $20k+ bankroll. If you're just budgeting some gamble fun, good luck and enjoy!

(If you have a $20k bankroll and playing for profit, you can do a lot better than playing $3 games. )
