what about some step sngs or something to give more options to sats. instead of having to win a 109 sat MTT as the only option. marketing wise its a way to get players to turn a 1 dollar sng up a ladder into a 200k first place

First of all, this is awesome!

But the satellite structure seems a bit weird IMO. $6+1 rebuy into a 109 mega satellite where roughly 1 in 5 pays? Not a fan of that, it should be more like $4+.50 (since you obv. want more than 10% rake on this.)

I understand though, you guys don't want this to overlay or at very least want to make money back on satellite fees if it does.



So basically I'd prefer something like $4+.50 R/A or 12+1 or SNG satellite into a 69+6 or 75+7, which puts you into the 540. It's guess it's too late now, but something to consider for next time something like this happens or if the current satellites aren't popular. (1 in 5 satellites aren't really a good structure, IMO. The sweet spot for me is like 1 in 8ish.)

FYI and i should of mentioned this before. This is just the 1st months sats. I will be changing them as the months go by. Also tournament tickets are meant to be with us soon and when we have them i will be doing step sats.

ok well this isnt made specifically for you. do you think rec players or fish want 1 in 8 chance to win a ticket, or a 1 in 5 chance? more chances to win a ticket is better for everybody!

Obv. I didn't mean that 1 in 8 is the only acceptable structure. I was just stating what I like better. I just don't like paying full rake for a 1 in 5 shot, it's really not worth it as much...

Unless I satellite from the bottom out of boredom, I'll probably end up waiting for new satellite structures because I am not a fan of 1 in 5 satellites. I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels that way, and obviously others like 1 in 5. It's not a huge deal, I'm patient. I'll play a few ones anyway now, and increase my volume when they put out structures I prefer.



I see your point about recs probably preferring 1 in 5 and you're probably right. But most recreational players are going to start out at the lower level buy ins, and I don't think they're as discerning in the smaller details as regs are. So I'd rather do something like 12+1 1 in 6.8 moves on to a 75+7 and 1 in 7.2 moves on to the 540 later on.

I'm definitely in, but this seems a bit ambitious.... If you guys want to light hundreds of thousands on fire just ship them to my account!!!! All joking aside, I'm excited. Seeing as this tournament is 5 months away can we get the daily tournament schedule and structures fixed in the mean time?

I really hope you guys plan on doing a special cash out for whomever wins this.

Edit: The more I think about it I guess the intention is to make up for the guaranteed overlay in rake due to higher traffic over the next 5 months. Now seems like a very good time to give people tournaments worth playing since this tournament will surely get the WPN brand out there to the masses. If done right this could be genius. If everything stays the same as it is now you're lighting money on fire. Not that I'm not a fan of burning money, I'd just like to see this tournament actually do what it potentially could and that's grow the player pool so this site can finally take off like we all want it to.

Love it!!! I have gone on tilt rants about wpn from time to time, but you guys have always delivered the goods. Nothing but love for wpn's rewards and support. Bovada and Merge may be bigger now but can't hold a candle to wpn's efforts to appease us. When you do become the biggest TD, don't take away our rb like other sites and you will stay on top. The saying goes, spend $ to make $. snc and this is the most amazing efforts i've seen to build a customer base back up so far. Keep it up Boss.

I'm not sure they offer it. I know I don't have it on my account(s). Def interested on how big of a wire they will do. Even if it's free, there is a good chance you'll lose money to the exchange rate. Looking forward to the TD clarifying. If it's not a substantial wire I need to go ahead and plan my vaca so I can head down to Mexico to cash out after binking this!

5 hour late registration..

It's a 1 million GTD tournament. What'd you expect?

Haven't played on WPN in 9 months or so. Received this email last night and it blew my mind. I almost thought it was fake for a minute. I don't see it overlaying at all since it is 5 months away and tons of satties will be run, plus re-entry.

I gave up on them too. I may try and satty in as it gets closer. But unless they fix their daily mtt schedule, I don't see myself doing much else on the site.

This is a great way to bring new customers. I give them credit for trying. But unless they use this as an opportunity to, once and for all, fix the problems inherent to the mtt sched, this rates to be nothing more than a really cool one off promotion.

But I agree. Very little chance this overlays. This will bring out all the grinders worldwide. Lotsa new accts regged for this one.

Hope this also boost the traffic which will boost the GTDs of the daily mtts also. Nice to see a $1M GTD online for Americans.

I also think a mtt series should have came with this, having the $1m GTD as the ME. Any word on the next time you guys will have another series?

You will have 10bbs if you late register during the final level of late registration. However i can see the network losing a good amount of money to have this tournament. It needs 2000 entries to cover. I think they will BE on the tournament itself when its said and done with tourney fees and satelite fees, but the positive will be increased traffic throughout the network for about 2 months.

The next series is due in September it will be a MOSS. I am going to announce the schedule soon.

With regards to the Million, this will coincide with OSS IIII. I am hoping that this is going to be bigger than ever but i am going to wait and see how traffic goes in the next couple of months. If things are really good then it will be our biggest ever series without a doubt excluding the Million.
