Has anyone else upgraded to Windows 10? Ever since I upgraded I can't seem to access my cashier on any of the Winning skins. I get a blank white page. I spoke with support and they are looking into it but I was hoping we can link the issue to the upgrade.
Yes, I reported this too. The issue is certain pop ups (like the cashier) will only open in IE, so the WPN software is looking for that program, which is sort of a problem for Win 10 because there is no IE anymore, it's default browser is Edge. WPN is going to finally have to update the software so that pop ups do not force open in IE... hopefully they can set them to open in the users default browser automatically, or at least open in Edge if IE isn't present.
Here's a tip that I learned the hard way today and if anyone else runs into it, the solution to fix it. Hopefully it will save some of you a good bit of time and get you the solution.
I had both the sign-in page and Microsoft edge both hang and in having to hard shut-down to get the computer to reboot, ended up with a script error conflict with the sign-in page.
I uninstalled and re-installed the program (the first uninstall also hung), but this didn't fix the problem as I kept getting the same script error on the opening screen to acr.
The solution to it was that in windows 10, there are TWO internet caches. One for edge, which can be accessed by the more actions tab in the top right, then settings, then clear browsing data.
However, there is a second cache, as not everything is run in edge, even though it looks like it does. Anything that is not totally compatible with edge, actually runs in IE11 (which is in the background)... and where I'm guessing the lobby scripts are run thru. To clear this cache, you will need to go into the old control panel (like in win 7 or 8), then go to internet options, then clear out that cache.
Clearing both along with uninstalling/re-installing the software should fix everything and allow it to run normally.. at least it did for me.
