What's super frustrating is when all the super short stacks are at the same table and you have people with less than 3 big blinds stalling every hand. Then you have the other table which has all the big stacks and no one is stalling, but the play is so weird because no one wants to get out before any of the super short stacks at the other table. It creates a less than fun experience.
I wish it was just as easy to say lets do it. It is something we want/need we know that. There are alot of things in the dev list and this unfortunately doesnt take priority.

You being a tournament director should know that this is a real shame.
It is a shame and one of the 1st things i wanted when i started here was hand for hand. Mac client takes priority, back end user things take priority. There are so many but if it were my decision we would have hand for hand. I just dont have a say in what gets done 1st.
OK since many imo items that harbor fair, funner, more players game play
Hand for hand ,shown cards at showdown, mac
Have all been pushed down list for well years
We have seen
Sit n spins
Dumb rolls
Soon jackpots
And I am sure I missed some
It's obvious that the bottom line is more weighted then fair, fun, expanded player base
So I just wanna call bs in regards to wpn is all about the players crap I always hear
I am fine with that I guess it is a business in a harsh market
I just am sick of the kumbyya it's all about the players parade
I also understand it's not just a click of a button...but come on man pretty basic stuff for an online site to offer
Read anywhere every poker event everywhere is trying to find ways to speed game play up and this is as primitive as the first online hand dealt heck every sport game is trying to find ways to speed play up
Almost every change we've seen to the site recently has been directly related to increasing WPN's revenues or reducing their costs.
Spin to Get In and Jackpot Poker provide additional rake to WPN and hopefully encourage additional deposits and play from new and existing players.
Deposits and Withdrawals are among the most frustrating aspects of US-facing online poker, so BitCoin hopefully will increase deposits and play. I suspect it's also cheaper for WPN to use these methods that it is to have credit card issuers and processors take out their substantial fees.
The one possible exception to the "increases revenue or reduces costs" rule is the elimination of DONs. Although part of the reason for that change is probably that the network hopes rec players will play the more highly raked Jackpot games instead.
Hand for hand (and resolving many other long-pending game integrity and gameplay issues) is the right thing to do. But WPN probably doesn't think that lack of hand for hand is keeping many players away.
As the CEO made clear in a recent twitch stream, he wants to bring online poker back in a big way in the USA. Unless someone can convince WPN that spending time and money to implement hand for hand would be more profitable than whatever they are spending time and money on right now, it's probably not going to happen.
I'm not familiar with every network out there, but every network I know of offers players more attractive and robust software that has fewer gameplay issues. The solution that makes the most sense to me is for WPN to develop or purchase software that doesn't look like a time traveler from 2003. That would reduce their costs over the long term, solve a bunch of issues at once, and make the network more attractive to players.
Things this post DOESN"T say, but that people will probably claim that it does:
- It's fine with me that there is no hand for hand.
- It's terrible that WPN, a private business created to make money, wants to spend their money on things that increase their profitability.
- It's wise in the long term for WPN to focus exclusively on items that provide relatively quick increases to profitability.
