Urgent: Clicking the All-in Button (in JP) folds your hand Urgent: Clicking the All-in Button (in JP) folds your hand

Warning: Just had a bad software glitch happen to me while playing jackpots. I was shoving preflop with a low pocket pair. I pressed max amount and then pressed raise and my hand was suddenly folded. I thought I could have made a mistake but then it happened to me again in a similar situation. Also, in a third situation, I tried shoving on the river with my straight and my hand was simply checked.

I learned my lesson the third time and I think not hitting the max raise button can avoid this problem but it is still a big issue.

This seems to be a new issue going on specifically with Jackpot tables. Apparently sometimes when you click the All-in button, it will FOLD your hand instead.

yep, lost 240$ table because of this

Crzzy's post is the original post in this thread. Just copied a post over from jackpot poker thread to give more context.

Its time for a test site and to roll back the last update

This company has zero pride

This has gone far enough

I truly believe that WPN has more incentive than anyone else to get Jackpots running smoothly again, but if you look at the Jackpot thread it's just post after post about people losing money from glitches. I swore Jackpots off months ago until things returned to normal and I know I'm not alone

Now they add new buy-in levels? Things were bad enough before, but this is an endorsement of their flawed product

I want WPN to succeed as much as anyone. I live in the US so I have limited options like the rest of us, I want this site to flourish, I think WPN is a better option than Merge or Ignition, but Jackpots need to be taken down until things are under control

I can understand if at this point they are unable to simply roll back to the glory days of Jackpots, but at least take the format down until things run well out of respect to your customers

A ****ing men. Coming from someone who will only play this format of poker online and hopes to make more playing on WPN this year than at their real job. I don't care if I can't play a hand of these for 5 weeks (again) just for the love of god get them operational to the point where customers don't have to worry every time they reg them.

There's no way I can be sure, but I suspect rolling back might not be very hard. This is based on the fact that some tournament-only skins are currently running the old version. (You can also get the old interface (but not games) back in the ACR client with a simple edit of the fname.xml file.) However, the actual ease depends on more details than we can see from the outside.

It could be an important piece of their overall plan for the client and that's why they want to keep it up, for sort of higher-volume beta testing using a popular format. That's total speculation though.

Just out of curiosity do these tournament only skins participate in Sit n Crush?

The only one I personally know about is betcoin. They do SNC but not for Jackpots, which are bitcoin entry/prizes and do not participate in the shared player pool (almost no traffic, last time I checked). I would guess any that use the shared pool would also use the new interface.

Cheers! It's completely unrelated to WPN, by the way.

I just figured you were mocking another poster in the forum. If that wasn't your intention I am still reading it that way!

Nope. I did see that post, but my fork is for nothing so serious. Just a gentle reminder of preparation to act in the face of rising fascist authoritarian kleptocracy in the US blah blah blah...

Let's not do the politics thing here since it's not the place for it. My bad for getting the ball rolling -- apologies.
