Thesparten, I'm totally shocked that you find HUDs too confusing.

his post is completely accurate. as a side note, there is no information a hud can give you that you cant learn just from paying attention to the action at the table. in fact I would say sometimes a hud can hurt you if that is all that you are going by. you need to be paying attention to how a person is playing at that particular point in time. a hud only gives a general picture of how someone plays. but what if a player happens to be drunk or tired or is trying to change their playing style at the time they are at your table? if you are strictly going by the stats in front of you, you could be missing out on some profitable situations.

so now when I win 3 seats to the milly, I will be forced to play the high roller on sundays too. Cool man. Way to justify it.

I wasn't justifying going to tournament tickets, I was taking a guess at why they would do it and not care that you play them to get cash. I then offered up what I thought would be a better solution, please learn how to read, thanks.

There's just no need to do it. It's forcing "fun players" to play buyins that normal wouldn't play. It's not good for regs or rec players, it's only good for WPN.

No, it's only bad for serious players who grind satellites to make cash. Lots of people including serious players have no idea you can even do that. Yes, tickets are much better for casual players because they can play the event that they want to play whenever they want.

Saying it forces them to play games they wouldn't is ridiculous, that's why they signed up for a satellite in the first place. I personally don't like the change either, but let's not try to make it out like it's so bad for everyone. It's great for the people we want to play on the site so we can make money and sucks for you and I. That's why I mentioned tournament dollars as a good compromise and it's already in the software. Unfortunately for us, WPN clearly wants to force people to certain events with the satellites and that's their right.

It was a great exploit while it lasted, take advantage as long as you can.
