I would think a replacement would be implemented in the near future to satisfy players.. although, I cannot speak on it.

Just realized this when I went to cash in points to play Sunday schedule...

This is a huge loss in rake back... 1450 points was converting to $27.50 ... now it will effectively convert to $16.11

yeah this seems messed up that they are effectively changing their VIP system in the middle of the year.

CEO mentioned in a stream that it's a temporary change. No idea what "temporary" will turn out to be, but not encouraged by performance on vague time frames in the past. He also said that they would add more tournament buyins that accept player points, but haven't seen any new point buyin options in the client yet. From a customer satisfaction perspective, that would have been nice to have in place at the time of the change.

This seems like one of those times when some clear communication could help.

I suppose best option is to hang onto the points and make sure it is rectified.

wow this is a scam. you used to get 215 t$ for just over 12k points. Now it will cost 13.5k points for only $150. thanks for cutting the value of the reward system overnight wpn, this is ****ing ridiculous. Which is even scummier considering you used your reward system as an advertising tool all last fall trying to recruit players to " get the same value as SNE" on your site.

I mean, it absolutely sucks about the RB hit and all but if you're putting in SNE volume on WPN, between the Beast and SNC, you're almost assuredly doing better than SNE on Stars in terms of rewards even with the new change.

the more the months roll on the more my comfort level with WPN shrinks... but to say their rewards program doesn't trump Stars is probably pretty wrong in almost any scenario I can come up with off the top of my head.

I really hate defending WPN because I feel they do a metric **** ton wrong, but this is just a tiny drop in the bucket of things they do wrong, and they did say something else is coming to compensate for the change. if nothing does then lets light the torches and burn us a qtip.

well I have over 500 dollars in tourney bucks. I contacted live support to ask if they could be converted to cash. something I have done many times in the past. now they are telling me they cant bc they are waiting for IT to convert everyone's left over tbs. I only have the TBs bc I registered for tourneys that didn't get enough ppl to start. not to mention there are exactly zero tourneys that accept TBs at the moment so far as I can tell. so basically my 550 is being held hostage and I was told I would just have to wait until they converted. no time frame would be given. excellent customer service
