Sunday tournament schedule- time changes? Sunday tournament schedule- time changes?

03-12-2017 , 11:46 AM
I just logged on to ACR and all of the Sunday tournaments are starting 2 hours later than they normally do. Is this an error? Is it due to Daylight savings? I couldn't find any posts about a shift.

DAYLIGHT SAVING!!!!!????? ****ing pipped by the real world

daylight savings only accounts for a single hour though. the entire schedule got bumped 2 hours later, which literally makes absolutely no sense to do without some form of announcement. just savagely ****s everything up imo. tilted by that actually.

only thing that makes sense is whoever reset it didn't know the whole spring-FORWARD /fall-BACK thing and kinda botched the job. scheduling them for an hour later before the time change seems like it was an accident/mistake/misclick and they were trying to set them BACK an hour to account for the time change. once the clocks adjusted, they'd be back in the proper time slots. even if they did nothing at all, the tourneys should only be 1 hour later. not 2.

2 is ****ed. even more ****ed considering that everything has already been smashing it's guarantee exponentially in their current time slots regardless of other networks competition so really no need for it at all. wpn>888 lately for majors. WU always has 1600 runners, SS 900+, the 50k always 1700 runners, the 22 **** show gets like 2.4k runners or something. seems so crazy to just switch all of that on everyone. would lay 3:1 that every single event has a smaller prizepool this week than the last 8 because of this. who in europe wants to register a 215 at 5am monday when you started 3pm sunday.

i suppose im just tilted because idk wtf to do for next few hours now.

Completely agree, I could understand a 1 hour difference but 2 seems like incompetence on the schedulers end. Sucks too, I usually only play tournaments on Sunday and base my schedule around the standard times. Having the 25k and 50k start at 4pm is a disaster, those take a long time as is and often end at 2am+ with a 2pm start.

It was an error on the dev side with daylight savings. I would never change the schedule like that
