Sound effect glitch - Page 2 - Winning Poker Network -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

I wonder if restarting the sound server would help when this occurs. It was sometimes used for sound issues on another site recently. Links below for anyone interested in trying it out.

I use custom sounds /shrug. I had distortion on 'my turn' before I changed them. Try deleting sound.bat and the other sound.bat file...may not help but you can try.

The bat files contain all the sound...easy to customize. Just change it to a .zip file if you don't already know how to do that. I would assume that is better than loading them from another location on your PC.

This happens to me randomly as well. IDK if this is the cause for certain, but I think what causes it is if you happen to fold at the exact time your time-bank gets activated. Weird how people have been mentioning this bug for a couple years and it still hasn't been addressed. I understand it's not on WPNs priority list, but at least they should be made aware of it and let us know if they plan on fixing it or not.
