SNG 2.0 Pros and Cons SNG 2.0 Pros and Cons

I tried out the new format and came up with a few pros and cons that I would like to share and get some feedback on.

Pro...
1. Structure. Decent pace for 9 max SNG. Not too fast...
2. Stakes. Good choices for small stakes players and all levels above.

Cons....
1. Software. Very slow and choppy. Every time the antes are collected I cringe.
2. The payouts. Instead of paying more places, I would prefer a bigger prize pool for the top 3-4 spots. I guess I am accustomed to spinners with a nice prize pool for the winner.

Overall, I don't see a reason for recreational players to flock to this. If you had a chance to turn $5 into $75 or $100 for first, then it would be more attractive than playing 10 times and finally getting 5 green cards and winning $24 and everybody else min cash.

Comments? Opinions?

I have to say no thanks to them only because they don't offer Omaha SnGs lol plus they take too long. I got a 3 year old so no time for that haha.

there is a thread already for SNG where people are making similar posts to yours, should pry merge this thread and keep SNG 2.0 contained in the original thread.

Pros: lots of new players, the allure of the big payout

cons: a few that still need to be tweaked. I think the table is ugly and prefer the original tables over JP tables and SNG 2.0 tables.

Antes attached to chip stacks(as mentioned) is ridiculous, ugly, and hurts my eyes/ confuses me, especially when mixing regular tables. Too many times i have thought we had blinds of say 200/425 or whatever.

Prize pool needs to be displayed better. When a player has hole cards and cant see the prizepool, that is plain stupid.
