I would hope that the person making the decision would be open to using the money in the ticket prizepool to actually further the SNG growth WPN has seen, but what do I know.

I hope the suggestion is at least taken as sincere about what would, from our outside perspective, be good for the SNG games. Since we have the option to opt-out and get the cash, it should be clear that it's not just some simple-minded greedy whine.

No idea what the exact numbers are on no-shows for the satellite, but apparently handing out dozens of $55 tickets that go unused is part of a plan that is indeed successful.

The sats are fine I guess tbh, at least there's the option to opt-out. If you look at it as just a 55 to 1k satty and forego the whole cage thing then it's something nice for a tourney player to play around in. It's definitely not a major issue anyway.

Main thing would be adjustments to happy hours. There's a lot of different options and idk which would be best, but the current one isn't working nearly as well as it could be.

1 - Double the # of weekday happy hours from 3 to 6 and reduce the point multiplier to 1.5x. This is the simplest solution, but probably not the most effective.

2 - Set the least active 6-12 hours each day to 1.25x or 1.5x. Maybe even include weekends with this one to make it as effective as possible.

3 - Have random happy hours, possibly even with random multipliers for snc points. This would have been a cool little addition/promotion with the snc 2.0 release(still could be!). As with 2, including weekends would be better for this.

4 - Remove happy hours altogether. Maybe a true rake race would just work better idk. If it ain't broken, don't fix it...that kind of thing.

Any of these seem better to me, but I guess #2 or #3 would work best.

Along with this, adding more tiers to the payout system would help a lot in creating action. You can leave the top and bottom payouts the same if you want, but we need many more pay jumps in between. This would create competition for each and every payout position. Along with being more fun it would be much more fair this way too.

Has anyone done this? I did it this week and got the $50 cash but not the $55 I should for the cage tournament.

I pre-registered for it twice recently and then unregistered, but I have no idea if the $55 was ever credited to my account; it didn't show up in the transaction logs and it'd be difficult to backtrack my balance to see if an extra $55 was in there or not.

If you read the terms for SNC, it says that you're not entitled to any money for the ticket, but I'm not sure if they follow that or not.

I track my account close so know not credited. Not even been given a ticket for the tournament to register at later date. Have emailed them.

I feel like it isn't awarded until about today, Thursday usually. I could be way wrong but i thought I noticed a small spike in my acct one Thursday or Wednesday night lol

Might be a nice second wind for SNG 2.0 with 5 x $11.00 tickets or 2 x $27.50 tickets given out to the ~100 players that earn the tournament entry every week.

Or give players in the $1250 and $500 tiers a $109 SNG2 ticket, give the $125 tier a $55 SNG2 ticket, and give out the remaining as $27.50 SNG2 tickets. That would stretch tickets to somewhere around 150 places rather than 100 (or go even deeper and include some $11 tickets).

Hopefully they add plo8 sng 2.0's if they add 2.0 tickets as a snc reward, since quite a few of us cashing in the snc are playing the plo8 on-demands.
