That's actually true. I've written many posts here on 2+2 about the importance of keeping one's screen name anonymous to avoid DDOS cheating. I've already been robbed because I'm a poker player and I've had an attempt by someone to empty my Merge account. In addition to that I've been personally threatened by someone who was in a position to pull it off and specifically said that he was trying to figure out my screen name so he could use his connections to cause me problems. There are nutty people out there, even among some folks that are considered respected.

The absurdity of CastleFrank's proposal is that he is a new poster to 2+2. If he were to lose, he could simply create a new account and start all over again. I really don't have that option. What a sucker bet that would be.

Not to mention that I have rarely initiated posts to him. What posts does he really need to reply to? I only respond to some of his troll posts. My responses these days are basically, 'Go away'. If he keeps doing what he is doing, there will probably come a point that 2+2 tells him to go away.

I've reported CastleFrank in the past because of his more abusive posts. If I were to have some kind of exhibition game with him there is no way in the world any Mod would ever take any complaints I made about him seriously. There's a very good reason why people never invite stalkers into their homes.

Santa- as much as we don't see eye to eye it's perfectly fine to me for those who keep their screen name private for whatever reason it might be.
