Pokertracker tells me that I have contributed $1713.00 in rake since I opened my account a few months ago. I have cashed in all of the 10 dollar medals and 2 of the 50 dollar medals, and I foolishly cashed in 4500 combat points for 50 dollars as well when I didn't know any better. Does that mean that I can expect a payment of (1713*.27) - ($150 in medals) - ($50 in Combat Point Redemption) = $262.51, give or take since I'm sure their numbers might be slightly different?
Also, how does The Beast work with players on rakeback? Are they exempt from the competition? Thanks.
Spend all of your points earned on Elite Benefits before you swap to rakeback. When you swap to rakeback, those points will be zero'd out/worthless. You will not be credited anything for them.
Rakeback does not affect The Beast in any way. However, if you are raking enough to cash in the Beast each week, there's a very good chance you should just stay on Elite Benefits VIP valuewise, save your points, and buy the biggest (and most efficient) bonuses possible.

The maximum allowed rakeback is 27%. The 35% is on old accounts were created on Black Chip Poker years ago when it was part of The Merge Gaming Network. The rakeback percentage was grandfathered in. Those lucky folks have a higher rakeback percentage. There are also some really old accounts created on Doyles Room that have 30% if I'm not mistaken. Again, neither of these rates are possible for new players who are capped at 27%.
