Thanks alot. Ok I have questions, since the ACR Live Chat team is amazingly bad at figuring out what I'm asking and just gives me form responses to different questions.

What does "$50 in store cash" for hitting Captain rank mean, exactly? They told me I can trade in CP for $$, but at the Lieutenant rank its 1000 CP for $10...

I am interested in signing up. I am going to be playing MTTs, so I don't think I am going to pay enough rake to make elite benefits worthwhile.

Do I need to find an affiliate in order to get rakeback?

if yes, which one would you suggest?

How much money should I be depositing in order to take advantage of first deposit bonus?

An affiliate sign up is not necessary for rakeback. Just contact support or PM one of the reps here.

Bonus clears at about 20%. So figure out what you will rake in 60 days and deposit 1/5 of that, up to the max ($1000). For example, if you will rake $5k, then you can deposit $1k and clear the full bonus.

Fairly new to WPN. The Beast is driving me away from the cash games. Paying 11bb/100 in rake and once the rake is divided up between the jackpot and regular rake that 27% goes down to ~20%. Is the general public supportive of the beast? Seems like a BS promotion propping up a few players at the expense of everyone else. It sucks to know that the more I play on WPN the more of my $ gets directly redistributed by the site and placed into other players accounts. They don't beat me for it on the table but I pay opponents like IceBankMiceElf to simply see flops.

Along these lines was anyone happy the tournament entry via the beast was changed from a 1k cage satellite to a PCPA satellite? So, we lose the opportunity to turn that rake back into real cash and it's instead used to prop up ACR's tournament that is out of the country and 4 months away... I couldn't attend if I wanted to. A nice tweak to the rewards program in the site's best interest and against the best interest of their customers.

Is this business as usual for this card room? I love the software and games but the ridiculous unfair nature of this promotion/rakerace feels like a giant ripoff and deincentivizes me to play.

Offhand, can someone please tell me how much Bovada takes in rake compared to WPN.

Can someone help and post or pm a link to a reputable affiliate link to ACR so I can sign up with the 27% rakeback?

You don't need to go through an affiliate. Just contact support or PM one of the reps here and ask to be switched to rakeback.

do you have any idea of when the next one might be? I'm trying to figure out if I should hold out. Thanks.

Signed up for ACR tonight. Before my bitcoin transaction went through I got on Live Support to switch over to 27% rakeback but he said I would lose all the first time deposit stuff if I did that? So am I stuck? I hadn't played a single hand before that. The bitcoin deposit did go threw and although I didn't see any bonus stuff yet. I'd prefer to be in the 27% rakeback as I'm just a casual limit player.

Just to confirm:

Rakeback is distributed automatically on Wednesday and I don't need to release it unless I want it prior to Wednesday, right?

Also, bonuses are free to be released whenever with no penalty?

Thank you.

Question about the Store benefit. I haven't played much on ACR for quite some time, but got back into it the past few weeks and over the holiday weekend. Bumped up to "Captain" level, and ACR website seems to say that will give me $50 on the "Captain Store." It also says I access the Store by clicking on Rewards in the poker client. I don't see it there. Am I missing something? Is the Store the same thing as "Points Exchange"? I certainly don't have $50 credit on the Points Exchange, and the buttons available there are just for cash at certain CP levels. Not what I would call a Store. Any help is appreciated.

no store, just points exchange

I'm trying to set up my Holdem Manager for rakeback. If I have rakeback on WPN and want to show the right rakeback % I get, should I just put in 20%? That's the number I keep on hearing after the beast takes a cut.

Thanks in advance.

20.25% would be correct if you only played SNC-eligible SNGs. Not sure for Beast-eligible games.

This is for cash games. Thanks tho.

I have been enrolled in the enlistment system since my account opened and I understand that I am permitted to make a one-time-only switch to pure rakeback. My question is, if I do that, do I then get recouped all of the rakeback which I am owed since my account opened? Pokertracker tells me that I have contributed $1713.00 in rake since I opened my account a few months ago. I have cashed in all of the 10 dollar medals and 2 of the 50 dollar medals, and I foolishly cashed in 4500 combat points for 50 dollars as well when I didn't know any better. Does that mean that I can expect a payment of (1713*.27) - ($150 in medals) - ($50 in Combat Point Redemption) = $262.51, give or take since I'm sure their numbers might be slightly different?

Also, how does The Beast work with players on rakeback? Are they exempt from the competition? Thanks.

How does someone who just joined change over to RB from the default benefits program? I'm asking for a friend who just opened an account but is just a casual player who would not put in the necessary volume for the benefit program to make sense.

They can send an email to ACR support asking to switch over. I simply sent an email asking to switch to rakeback and included my username/email and that was all it took.

Howdy. Is there a simple calculation that will identify my net rake back % when I am also earning a bonus? I have a 35% RB deal with BCP. In perusing this thread, I saw something like 41%?

bonus% + (rakeback% x (100% - bonus%))

example for 20% bonus:

20% + (35% x (100% - 20%) = 48%

My bad. I should have specified that it was a reload bonus. It's the 100% WSOP bonus offered in June.

So, would it look like this? 100% + (35% x (100% - 100%) = 100%

Guessing that everything I earned via rake back during the bonus period will end up as a negative RB balance once any portion of the bond is credited to my account...
07-16-2017 , 10:05 AM
No, when I put bonus% I should have specified that's the rate at which the bonus clears, not the matching %. I think most reloads are 23% ($5 per 120 points earned). [The WSOP reload was 23%.]

23% + 35% x 77% = 50%

Rakeback will be adjusted as bonus is released, but it should work out overall as above.
