Punta Cana Poker Classic at the Melia the Level

Just wanted to say what a great job WPN has done moving this tourney, that has grown over the years at The Hard Rock Resort.
I was first to think this was a big mistake..
However WPN went out and found the perfect Resort..
The Melia Tropical The Level ,
Food - Hands down better food
Rooms - very compatible depending on room choice
Beach - Not even close The Melia best beach in Punta Cana .
*Hard Rock beach basically just for show. To rough bad under current At the Melia you can actually enjoy the Caribbean Ocean . I travel a lot and its nothing like standing in the ocean having a drink !
Casino - This goes to the Hard Rock no comparison. Hard Rock is biggest casino in Punta Cana , so no other resort can compare .
But plenty of Roulette ,Black Jack etc...
Sports book - Again Hard Rock cant compare best in Punta Cana
* But here is what separates WPN from the rest.. When we arrived 4 days early. Casino was dead . WPN brought in and set up sports book in poker hall and in casino , just before the players arrived . What they did in one day was amazing .
The small casino turned from dead to happening . Flat screens hung on walls and the line boards were up , brightened up the casino and gave us players all the action we wanted.
Drinks- All poker players were booked in The Level section.. All top shelf liquor
Much better at the Melia The Level .
Service - I never thought the Melia could out do the Hard Rock . But This place has superior service by far !
Tourneys - Great job as always. Plenty of satellites and hyper turbos
Sit n Go 2.0- This was something new created to enhance the players experience . Each player who won or bought a package was given Six 50.00 entry's. This was a Great opportunity for players to build up a bank roll for cash or satellites . I personally played in 6 and cashed in 4 +435.00 paid right at table .
Cash Games - Room was created in same hall as Main Event ,so much more convenient for players .
Exchange rate- I heard this was not good for players traveling from outside the States who wanted to convert to US dollars ,but we are from the States so no problem for us.
Staff - Same staff, very accommodating and always very helpful. I started playing with the LSOP inaugural tourney in Costa Rica years ago ,winning a package online . Same great core and look forward to seeing the 3 staff that have been here since the beginning .
Lobby - We will always miss the lobby at Hard Rock , but as my wife said " I would trade the lobby for the beach, service, and food every time here at the Melia "
As for me got knocked out of the Main, Won satellite for day 2 . and out again.
But having a great time . I am sure I forgot something ,buy hey its 3 am gotta get some sleep
